I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Beyonce/her team that came up with the idea of being a surprise performer. The Grammys at least when it comes to her performing will wait on her hand and foot, I think the media attention and public neediness for the artist to be her is a good image boost ahead of tour time, although pre-sale sign-ups have shown whether or not she performs she is set. I am eating so good with concerts, last year Gaga this year Beyonce.

Miley: while not a Grammy darling, she has the biggest song in the world right now and it’s fun, acclaimed & PG.

I think it’s Beyoncé but wouldn’t be surprised with Adele either. Also, AFAIK there’s two surprise female performers: one mentioned by Ben Winston (a song and an artist that’s not nominated) and one by Trevor Noah (a fan favourite female singer whose music we’ve been listening to all year)

I changed my mind about Beyoncé. It’s been stated that the surprise performer is not nominated this year. I won’t get my hopes up and think it’s Nicki. The show snubs her year after year and it wouldn’t be a good idea to give them a performance. I think it’s Miley.
