I honestly want Usher to perform at the Super Bowl. I think he would be amazing, give a show and I wouldn’t be falling asleep.

Usher wouldn’t be bad at all. He has the hits and he is a great performer

Can we get Janet Jackson Redemption performance for her 40th year anniversary in 2022.   It would make the most sense and would literally have the highest ratings out of any superbowl performance ever. Plus her album is dropping 2022 and her A&E documentary drops a month b4 halftime.

    Ariana Grande
    Carrie Underwood
    Drake
    Ed Sheeran
    Eminem
    JAY-Z
    Jonas Brothers
    Justin Bieber
    Mariah Carey
    Mary J. Blige
    P!NK
    Rihanna
    Taylor Swift
    Usher

I’m a Mariah fan from way back, but I don’t think Mariah has the team behind her to be able to pull off a performance of this level. I also think that considering she doesn’t have much in the way of dance ability she’d be really out of place doing this.

That said, I think Pink, Rihanna, Drake or Usher would all be good choice. Perhaps they could do a show with multiple performers.

I also think Adele is a good choice.

if Mariah Carey cant do it with her lack of dance technique, then Adele can’t

Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift or Rihanna. Adele is a possibility. They’ve been trying to get her for years. And if her new album is more upbeat, it can help.

Starting to think it will be Adele.

    Setlist including:

    • Hello
    • Rolling in the Deep
    • Set Fire to the Rain
    • Someone Like You
    • Send My Love (To Your New Lover)
    • Rumor Has It
    • Chasing Pavements
    • New Single

It would work! She has a powerfull voice so there’s no way you will fall asleep while she belts Hello or Rolling in the Deep. We also saw in her stadium tour that the combination of her voice + visual elements (fireworks, ground projection, etc) really works.

Also, Gaga proved with “Million Reasons” that a piano kind of song surprisingly goes well. So here we go Someone Like You.

There’s a rumour Adele new album is more upbeat and that she may finally be doing a featuring. That could go well in the setlist for the Superbowl.

Love Adele to death but she’s kinda like Ed Sheeran in the sense that they have hits for days but aren’t Super Bowl Halftime type performers. No one wants to see someone just stand and sing when the halftime show is about theatrics, visuals, and a PERFORMANCE, even if all the songs are known.

    I personally wouldn’t mind though

I had to dig a little to find this thread but it looks like Dr Dre will be headlining the SuperBowl with special guests Mary J Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg. Thoughts? I’m actually kind of excited.
