I think it will be good but 5 people headlining a 15 minute show should be interesting. Also a very random mix of people, never expected this. Kind of excitedSeptember 30, 2021 at 2:16 pm #1204494901
Eminem could’ve easily done this by himself… But I like all the other co-headliners too. Probably will be performing their songs with Dr. Dre as a sort of tribute to him.
Also finally a hip-hop Halftime Show! Was long overdue.September 30, 2021 at 3:18 pm #1204495032
Eminem and Kendrick could have easily done the show by themselves
And they both and have the talent and the repertory to do so + they deserve itSeptember 30, 2021 at 3:52 pm #1204495092
What is the need to complain about Eminem being able to do this on his own when THIS is the rest of the group ? And specially when we were betting on Ariana, Adele or Taylor?
This is great.September 30, 2021 at 3:56 pm #1204495110

I think this is the first time that a multi-headliner of that amount has happened since 2004. Honestly I’m hella excited. There’s so many medley options, especially since it seems Dre’s gonna be the centerpiece of the whole show. Like, there’s probably gonna be “Nuthin’ But a G Thang” or “The Next Episode” given Snoop’s there, maybe add a little bit of “Forgot About Dre” with Eminem there. Like, damn, this is gonna be one of the most hyped up halftime shows I’ve ever seen.September 30, 2021 at 5:43 pm #1204495253

True. I guess by random I meant unexpected. It also just feels overwhelming because they could all do it easily on their own so the amount of song possibilities from each of them is endless. How they’re going to fit it into 15 minutes is gonna be interesting to seeSeptember 30, 2021 at 6:28 pm #1204495306
This was anticipated, NFL was always going to go with older acts.
Edit: Like I previously mentioned, they were never going to do a repeat of the Weeknd’s Halftime Show.
They lost a HUGE amount of their older demographicSeptember 30, 2021 at 8:59 pm #1204495444
This is awesome. The NFL producers missed the mark not doing an ATL Hip Hop lineup years ago, but this makes up for it.
I imagine a combination of the following songs will be performed:
Mary J. Blige – “Family Affair”/”Real Love”/”Just Fine” (most likely “Family Affair”)
Kendrick Lamar – “HUMBLE.”/”Swimming Pools (Drank)”/New Song
Dr. Dre w/Snoop – “Next Episode”/”Nuthin’ But a “G” Thang”
Eminem – “Forgot About Dre”/”The Real Slim Shady”/”Lose Yourself”
Either way, the energy will be at an all-time high. Glad that they are taking a year from the usual pop set.September 30, 2021 at 10:48 pm #1204495545
