In Chance The Rapper’s words it’s the “greatest show to ever happen”.

This performance was even better than her Super Bowl, and is probably her best performance to date.

While I don’t think she’s the greatest artist in history considering she doesn’t really write many of her songs. But as far as stage presence/live performances are concerned, I think no one really comes close. Do you think History will remember her as the greatest performer of all time? In all fairness, I don’t even think Michael Jackson had this much energy, and he did lipsynch a lot.

How did you find her Coachella performance?

even if you think she’s better, MJ will still be regarded higher because he is far bigger and far more legendary and also a guy. so no she will never have that title.

and she lips a lot too so that shouldn’t really be held against MJ to bring up her.

Getting away from a stan point of view, she has already proven to be one of the greatest performers in history because being black and being a woman, she’s had to work twice as hard to get the reputation she’s gotten (and even then, she is still getting doubted). To me, her, Janet and Michael are the holy Trinity of performers/entertainers but Beyoncé and Michael had the complete package (being able to sing live, visuals, dancing, stamina, energy, hype, admiration). The one advantage Michael had was he had much more intense dance routines and the one advantage Beyoncé has is that she has much more established vocals.

Of course, this is gonna be considered blasphemy but after seeing so many people say that Chris Brown is either up there or better than MJ, I don’t care anymore.

Eminem and Beyonce in the same year…..Coachella isn’t playing around. Love it.
The only ones I can think of that could rival these two in terms of pure star power and talent from festival’s past are Paul McCartney, Jay-Z, Depeche Mode, Prince and Kanye to be honest.
I’d give the edge to Prince but I haven’t seen clips from Beyonce yet so that could change.

Was good, even though I think she tends to reuses the same/similar choreo for multiple songs. Wish she would’ve incorporated more of her older hits. Not really the biggest fan of her in general but still kudos for not missing a beat on those choreo.

But the Partition/Yonce/Mi Gente/Baby boy Medley, and the Bday single performances, and her keeing Check on It in the set list and deservingly paying most of the IASF singles/album dust.

Still surprised the basic vanilla Halo didn’t somehow make the list, and her biggest #1 hit in the US/World Irreplaceable got only a 5 sec cameo.

also she needs to drop the tired run the world from future set lists ASAP….

Her fans have always begged her to stop using Halo because it’s her most overrated song other than Single Ladies. She listened.

Least she didn’t think of bringing up Video Phone since I thought she might add Telephone or more IASF singles but she can pay dust to her 2009-2010 electro-pop days

Wtf, what kind of fan doesn’t want to listen to one of the biggest hit of the artist?

I was actually disappointed she didn’t close with Halo. I dislike Love on Top

Because she does it all the time. It’s too typical of a closing song to do.

The Coachella performance was next level amazing!

Beyoncé is ONE of the greatest performers ever. Definitely Top 5-10.

But, MJ will remain GOAT until the end of eternity. He influenced everyone!

I mean the moonwalk, the Smooth Criminal lean, the jet pack…ICONIC.

Too many great performers to make such a statement, but dangit, you have to be a hater to not admit that there is just something captivating about Beyoncé as a performance artist. Samey or not, she’s consistent and she’s damn good at what she does. A modern-day Diana Ross with more talent. She’s definitely a legend.

I’d love to see Beyoncé receive an Academy Award nonination for ACTING as Diana Ross did 😉
