Who will win this time?November 20, 2019 at 1:06 pm #1203193123
It makes no sense to me that they indicated a random Gaga track on SOTY. I think with the defeat of “Shallow” and the ignored album, they want to reward it equal to the defeat of Million Reasons and the following year, the victory of Joanne Piano. Or they just want an audience and for her to attendNovember 20, 2019 at 1:11 pm #1203193157
Darling, are you stuck on 2008? My eyes hurt every time I see “GaGa”.
As a famous singer said, "ain't nobody gonna Thatcher, Thatcher, Thatcher!"November 20, 2019 at 2:12 pm #1203193333
This is Taylor’s it’s the only track solely written by the main artist. The song is on the way towards becoming a hit at the right time. I’m sure she’ll attend and she’ll perform this. This is the award that she deserves. Lover is just that type of song that wins.

Taylor will and does NOT deserve to win.
Rooting for Always Remember Us This Way and Norman Fucking Rockwell.

don’t underestimate H.E.R. and Hard Place!November 20, 2019 at 3:22 pm #1203193479
This isn’t a ranking, just my thoughts on some of the nominees:
I’d confidently predict Truth Hurts if it weren’t for the ongoing issues with songwriting credits. It can either result in bad press (Shape of You getting snubbed), or be ignored (Stay with Me, Viva la Vida). Not sure how it’ll end in Lizzo’s case just yet.
Someone You Loved closely resembles past winners (John Mayer, Ed Sheeran), but is really hurt by the lack of a BNA nom.
Bring My Flowers Now is not happening. Picks like this make me hate the panel system.
Bad Guy could win if Billie also wins ROTY and BNA. I don’t think she would only win here.
Lover seems very possible, especially since there’s only 1 songwriter and Taylor has never won in this category.November 20, 2019 at 3:47 pm #1203193509
Don’t sleep on Tanya Tucker…
She’ll win somewhere in Country, but that’s itNovember 20, 2019 at 3:52 pm #1203193511
Im torn on Lover. It doesn’t seem to have the top hit factor that most SOTYs have. Bille would have to sweep to win here.

Definitely the hardest of the gf to predict. Truth Hurts, Bad Guy, ARUTW, Lover, and Hard Place are all songs I can see winning but I wouldn’t count any of the other three totally out either. Looking forward to this oneNovember 20, 2019 at 4:18 pm #1203193575
LMAO This is Bad Guy vs Truth Hurts vs Someone You Loved. You would be truly delusional thinking Taylor is winning, The academy has make sure putting someone with better chance at winning in all three categories she’s nominated for.November 20, 2019 at 4:21 pm #1203193581
She’ll win somewhere in Country, but that’s it
Do keep in mind that her song is also a Brandi Carlisle co-write who is a three time Grammy award winner so far.
God bless you and her and the Texas Tornado always!!!
