What do you guys think of Zayn’s chances in 2022 Grammys. I think Vibez, When Love’s Around, and To Begin Again could surpriseMarch 20, 2021 at 11:17 am #1204147087
Zayn + 2022 Grammys = NOT happening & BARF!March 20, 2021 at 11:28 am #1204147107
zayn didn’t get a nom for waaay more successful pillowtalk/mom, so he won’t get anything for his current era after shading the grammysMarch 20, 2021 at 2:40 pm #1204147430
and rightly so, the new music is underwhelming at bestMarch 20, 2021 at 2:54 pm #1204147475
Yeah he might be more forgotten than Shawn and the Academy doesn’t like him. Can’t see it at allMarch 20, 2021 at 3:24 pm #1204147536
Zayn would have a better shot if he played the game (i.e. promoting, performing, campaigning etc). But his work ethic is deterred by anxiety and sheer laziness.March 20, 2021 at 11:43 pm #1204147949
Lol. Zayn will be nowhere near Grammys barring a glorious comeback at some point in the future, and it’s not because he criticised the institution on social media, or because he’s too lazy to promote. He barely makes the lower end of the charts in his home country at this point, and internationally his career is in freefall. His album was critically panned as well. Getting any love from any awards bodies, let alone Grammys, is as likely as Hell freezing over.March 21, 2021 at 3:01 am #1204148052
Harry will likely be the only former member of One Direction to win a Grammy. The others aren’t in any great position to be in consideration for one. There isn’t any passion from critics for Zayn’s work and his commercial power is essentially non existent at this point in his career. He gets engagement on Twitter and that’s about it, I doubt the Grammys (or any other award ceremonies) will acknowledge himMarch 21, 2021 at 8:16 pm #1204149933
Zayn fumbled up bad. He was off to such a good start with pillowtalk and his debut album and then he just … fell off? What even happened? I feel like his label kinda fucked him up too along with his general anxiety and laziness when it comes to performing and promoting.
It’s a shame. I remember people saying out of everyone in 1D, he would have the most successful career after they broke up. He’s still popular but his chances of bouncing back in the music scene are extremely slim now, and it’s not like he or his label are putting in any efforts. The grammys or other voting bodies are out of the question if he’s barely making it on the charts despite being a commercial artist.March 21, 2021 at 8:18 pm #1204149936
Omg the Kiki for the Grammys to nominate him after they dissed him.

stop making thread about fadMarch 22, 2021 at 5:59 am #1204150418
Why would he be nominated for songs that didn’t chart even in bubbling under and for an album that got mediocre (BAD) reviews (63 in Metacritic) and charted for a week at 44 with 15,000 copies sold? Is this a setup thread?
There’s more chances Harry will be nominated for Fine Line again than Zayn for the aptly named Nobody Is Listening.
He’s a fad that only got (some) success thanks to other people (Pillowtalk = 1D’s breakup + Gigi, IDWLF = Taylor, DTD = Sia) and flopped irrevocably at every other chance.March 22, 2021 at 10:00 am #1204150862

I could see Niall win a Grammy in some below-the-line category some day (maybe for some Country/Americana collab or a songwriting credit somewhere).
As for Zayn, if he couldn’t get a nom with IDWLF or Pillowtalk then he’s pretty much over unless he somehow manages to come back.
