Chastain and HBC would both be great, but unfortunately I think both would be too old for the role. Anne Hathaway would be good for an actual biopic of Winehouse, but if they were to make a film about a singer whose story closely follows Amy’s, yet is older, HBC and/or Chastain would be marvelous choices.

Helena Bonham Carter is a extraordinary actress. I really, really love her. But isn’t she too old to play Winehouse? Should I remind you that Winehouse was 27 at the time of her death? Carter is, at least, 20 years older…

They shouldn’t wait that long. I wouldn’t say Amy is the most famous artist out there, since she only released two albums that didn’t really generate huge hits. She may be forgotten by the general public from years to come.
