I immediatly thought Chastain. Not offense to the brilliant Miss Whinehouse, but with her style and all, she didn´t look her age, she looked older. So Chastain, who doesn´t look exactly older ha, could definitely play the part without the age difference being an issue.
Whoever said Eva Mendes…hmmm, that actually sounds great. Not only does she look the part, but I really think she just needs the right role to show us she can really act well. I knew that when I saw beyonf the pines….

Or maybe Anya Taylor Joy
Riley Keough’s?December 24, 2021 at 7:36 am #1204677219If this movie does have to be made I feel like casting someone just for their looks would be very disingenuous to Winehouse. She was ultimately a very traumatised character who was driven to create fantastic art and anyone who could do just to that character can do justice to the part.
I’m not the biggest fan of her in the world but I do think Lady Gaga would be a good choice considering as an artist she probably has an understanding of Winehouse’s trouble although I feel like someone like Jodie Comer or Emma Corrin or Florence Pugh would be a great choice.
