Why so little love for Streep? I thought she was creepy and nuanced and really different for the first time in ages. I was super impressed by her. Is it because she’s won enough?

Snook’s American accent is on point though. Australia represent. (Macfadyen and Snook  both have perfect accents)

Streep was a good addition to the second season of Big Little Lies, but I feel like Laura Dern got richer material in which she could show herself better (and let’s face it, she was iconic –  “I will not not be rich.”), and besides, Shailene Woodley was perhaps the MVP, who provided a powerful performance even with little screen-time. I wasn’t impressed with either Nicole or Reese.

I think it’s a mix of overhype that didn’t quite met expectations and fatigue of seeing her win every award.

Either of the two that are rightfully leading this poll (Sarah Snook and Helena Bonham Carter).

FYC OSCARS : VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", GLENN CLOSE FOR "HILLBILLY ELEGY", ANTHONY HOPKINS FOR "THE FATHER", CHADWICK BOSEMAN FOR "MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM", PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN (BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY).
