I think all 3 can have viable careers especially Huntergirl and Noah…. Huntergirl already has tons of connections in Nashville and has some strong original material while Noah fits the bill as a young country star perfectly (and he’s improving week to week)…. As for Leah, she can go down many roads~ pop, indie singer-songwriter, Christian, etc. Plus she has some connections from her father’s career and some good original songs too…
This final 3 is so reminiscent of season 10 when Scotty won over Lauren with Hailey in third. Both Scotty and Lauren (who the producers were pimping) have had very successful and long country careers since then… Hailey has had a lot of success in the indie world, not to mention selling her music to ads/tv/film soundtracks, acting, V/O and in other realms…
ReplyCopy URLIn season 20, returning judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan will judge the singing competition series American Idol (the fifth season on ABC). Ryan Seacrest is back as the show’s host. The contestant pool is trimmed through a series of elimination rounds after making it through the nationwide audition procedure. Although the judges express their judgement as the competition reaches the semi-finals, it is up to the audience to decide whether to keep or cut a performance. Fans can vote for their favourites via phone calls, text messages, and online for a limited time. The victor will receive the title of “American Idol” as well as a recording deal.
ReplyCopy URLOk, I think we all knew it was obvious that the wild cards would get the boot tonight and miss out on the top ten…. Now things get confusing… So many country artists. How far will they all make it? And which 3 will go home tomorrow (Already)??

It seems pretty clear the final four will end up with Iam, We, Daneille and Colin

8)Oliver Steele: This was “Meh” to me. What a time to have your worst performance. My grade: C+
7)Colin Stough: This was there. The song choice was not the one I would have picked for him but at least he was not boring? My grade: C+
6)Zachariah Smith: This was by far, the most disappointed I have been all season as this was PERFECTION on paper but “Meh” in enexecution. My grade: C+
5)Warren Peay: In all honesty, this performance was good. I was not wowed either. My grade: B
4)Haven Madison: Well, this was unexpected and kinda perfect. My grade: A+
3)Megan Danielle: I am not sure why she keeps veering towards boring song choices, but she sounded great on this. A+
2)Wé Ani: Perfection all around. My grade: A+

Anywho, yes, Iam is still head and shoulders ahead and We seems like a wonderful second place (my fave)…. but Megan is climbing fast and dont count out Colin. He is exactly what American Idol voters love (and verrrrry similar to last year’s winner)…My current preference of contenders:
