This was a much better episode than the ones aired so far. I think Cracker and Jujubee delivered the best performances and Cracker’s Ariana Grande/Aquaria inspired look is one of her best looks EVER.
The main thing here was Cracker understanding where her waist and hips are, which is always her problem. She also has issues when it comes to “proportionizing” her hip pads and that showed during the lip sync. But she looked gorgeous in both looks.
I think Jujubee won the acting challenge. Loved how she was close to breaking several times. But I agree with Carson that her look could’ve used something extra, even if it was really good. Cracker did a bit better this week.
I guess my prediction about Cracker’s RuDemption is coming true? Maybe.
I would’ve put Blair on the bottom, didn’t think she did anything on the challenge and I wasn’t crazy about her runway.
Alexis deserved her bad and good critiques, she looked gorgeous as well. India looked great and she makes me want to see more. I like that she’s getting all this air time and all these chances to show off her looks.
Mayhem deserved to go, the look was lackluster, the attitude towards Carson and yes, her performance was sort of good but it fizzled quickly.
I suppose Shea wasn’t that far from the bottom.
I don’t know in what world Morgan is a lipsync assassin, that was ridiculous BUT…did she win the lipsync? Maybe she did. She was great. But I can agree with the tie.
How was Kameron not the lip sync assassin here? What a wasted opportunity.
Congrats to Cracker.June 27, 2020 at 2:58 pm #1203554954
I am shaking my head throughout this episode. The producer meddling strike again. I would not have picked Mz. Cracker for the win. I would have given this to Jujubee.
Based on teams, then I don’t know who did the best. Which team did I laugh at the most was probably Shea and Alexis.
That lip synch being declared a tie was a choice. Morgan owned that stage and Mz. Cracker always seems like she is lip synching to a different song based on her actions. Mz. Cracker tried – bless her heart, but that was not a $20K winning lip synch.
I smell shenanigans and I heard that there was a post made by Shea but was deleted about AS5.June 27, 2020 at 4:09 pm #1203555010
Get real! Morgan McMichaels is NOT a lip-sync assassin. They should’ve brought in Kameron Michaels. Terrible challenge.
Honey, there shouldn’t have been a double lip-sync for your legacy win. Morgan slayed that bitch. I read the producers stopped the LSFYL due to Miz Cracker doing so poorly. The producers keep rigging this show.
Rankings – Top 7:
1. Jujubee – should’ve won; ROBBED! (great runway)
2. Cracker – cute! (great runway)
3. Alexis – BAM! (ovah runway)
4. Shea – cute! (ok runway)
5. Blair – blah! (runway saved her)
6. Mayheim – not bad! (forgettable runway)
7. India – bland! (nice runway)June 28, 2020 at 7:10 am #1203555493
After last week’s lackluster performance, that some even speculated was so she wouldn’t have to choose who goes home, I don’t think anybody on the show wanted Jujubee to lip sync again so soon. Even if it would’ve been cool having two season 2 girls there.
Between her looks (even this week’s good one) and her lip sync, Jujubee is very much stuck in season 2 or All Stars 1.
I agree Jujubee did the best acting, but I think what I said before and the first impression of Cracker looking this good sealed it for her.June 30, 2020 at 7:50 am #1203558587
Saw the episode again with friends and this time we were surprised nobody mentioned the queens as TMZ dudes during the critiques. It was part of the challenge and some of them did good and others were just there.July 1, 2020 at 10:33 pm #1203562328
“1st Act” more like first three seconds, guess they don’t wanna spoil the character choicesJuly 2, 2020 at 1:47 pm #1203563721
Honey, that 1st act was short as hell. There was no point in releasing it.July 3, 2020 at 9:33 am #1203564929
Anybody watch Canada? It was fun. Felt weird of course because Ru wasn’t there, and they still tried to use his lines AND his delivery, but it was nice. I think Jeffrey was nice, Brooklyn felt a bit wooden at times, but I think she’ll get better. I don’t like the other girl since she was an asshole on ANTM, so, I already came in not liking her. We’ll see.
The lip sync might be the best first lip sync ever, if you don’t count Gigi/Widow’s, since it wasn’t “for your life”.
The runway however, wasn’t as great. And I don’t know how the girl with the blue bathing suit was named safe. She along with Attitude Girl should’ve been on the bottom, and Attitude should’ve gone home. This girl who went home had the best lip sync (they just chose the one who did the splits) and I thought she would stay since Eliza was so into her and let’s be honest, nobody really did that great of a job with the outfits. I think a double shantay was necessary.
Speaking of Eliza, I wish she was part of this. It’s gonna suck when she’s not the guest host/judge…until somebody from Schitt’s Creek inevitably shows up. That would be Dustin Milligan, of course. Since Madison Beer was already a judge on All Stars and they used an Alex Newell song for season 12, both from Celebrity Drag Race, then you know Dustin Milligan will show up.

Hope you guys are ready because it looks like something is going on. I hope I’m wrong, but you never know these days.
RuPaul has erased all social media. She hasn’t been present anywhere since March except for the reunion and finale.
But even weirder: Kameron Michaels (of all people) has done it too! So, hacked? Hopefully.
And now Yvie has come out and answered to somebody on Twitter:
“Maybe I’m just biased because our host never made eye contact unless she smelled an Emmy moment”
Basically what Pearl said. So, going by Pearl’s current status, the All Stars 5 premiere will be the last time you see Yvie on this show.
What’s going on???July 3, 2020 at 7:24 pm #1203565810
that was a killer episode, but I’m even more worried about this season as a whole with the new twist, they seem to be gunning for another surprise elimination at the expense of the queens’ performances not getting the due praises
all rise to shea and juju for reminding us of what a good snatch game looks like, many memorable moments and amazing chemistry between the two. cracker had a good angle with doing a star is born press tour gaga but her delivery failed, and india’s j* s* was just horrible on so many level, in and out of the show.
I don’t know if prom was the best runway prompt, but we did get shea’s fabulous carrie meets sasha velour moment from it so I’m at peace. blair’s garment is spectacular too, her makeup continues to be off the charts. I also loved juju’s 80s bubblegum girl moment even if it’s not the most elaborate thing.
I’m so used to everything getting out months prior on reddit at this point that when I read yesterday there was a new twist incoming I brushed it off as trolling. boy was I wrong. it played out fine this episode because the (assumed) main protagonist of the season is in charge of the situation and the other focal points of the edit were not in consideration, but as the season goes on and the new format fucks up the “report cards”, shenanigans are bound to ensue.
open your heart is my favorite madonna song and this lip sync did not disappoint. it reminded me of the madonna rusical on season 12, vanjie was very much like jan in capturing the tomboy-ish energy of early madonna, but shea gave a layered performance that combined the blonde ambition of gigi and enigmatic erotic energy of jaida, it was fabulous.
I was leaning towards india in the whole “get shea out” debacle, but the lack of video evidence from the editors made me think it was all just a desperate move from her to stay in the competition. I had high hopes for india this season because she had been serving major looks on instagram and has been involved in several controversies, but she never really delivered the goods I expected from her, so not a sad departure
next week has the potential to be another warhol ball (remember? that bizarre challenge on as3 when they had to make soup cans?), not too excited about it.July 3, 2020 at 7:33 pm #1203565818

Hasn’t Ru been stuck in quarantine in London? DR-UK was in the middle of filming but Covid hit and got suspended halfway through.July 3, 2020 at 11:01 pm #1203565931
I could totally see Mayhem and Alexis doing some behind-the-scenes chicanery to keep Mariah around and get rid of frontrunner Shea, but Alexis made a good point. If you’re gonna plot like that, you need everyone in on it and not just one person. No footage from the editors is suspicious, but I guess it could have happened in an area or time the cameras weren’t rolling? I don’t know enough about India to know if she was telling the truth or playing the game? Alexis is her S3 sister, so that should have meant something. But desperate times call for desperate measures. Jujubee was right. If she was that good a liar, then her Snatch Game performance would have been far better lol. This installment of “Snatch Game of Love” underwhelmed me with the first group not being all that interesting or exciting. India doing Jeffree Star was such a tonal miss, plus fourth time in bottom was the clear exit. Cracker was too bland with Gaga. Alexis going home wouldn’t have been cool when she was the best of that first group, even though I had zero reference to her character choice. The second group was far better, though Blair’s Ellen was one-note. Shea winning again was fine, I guess, but Jujubee was awesome as Eartha Kitt. She was really the only choice if the whole idea of this is a “Love Connection”-like game. But Shea’s Flavor Flav was the loudest standout of the entire group, so I get it. Runways were fine, though for a prom fantasy theme, I wanted much more from some of them. Vanjie as the lip-sync assassin … thank u, next. If only WTW gurls are being chosen for this, yeah, major disappointment there. Vanjie was never winning that, b/c Shea had to make her decision between India and Alexis. Vanjie sending Alexis home would have been high drama, but not tonight. Not thrilled over the twist, b/c not having an official bottom two means that queens start to leave for other reasons than performance and runways, like arbitrary popularity and alliances formed. Oh well. Nice exposure for India to a new generation of fans. I doubt many will fault her for playing the game, even if she completely made up the Alexis/Mayhem story. Derrick Berry must be at home watching with his thrupple going, “didn’t I tell u guysss about this bitch!?!” lol (in her best Britney voice, of course).July 3, 2020 at 11:24 pm #1203565951

Michelle also emptied all her tweets, but her instagram hasn’t been touchedJuly 4, 2020 at 3:50 pm #1203566850
Can’t believe this happened a week before Netflix’s Walter Mercado doc. Sometimes I doubt if this is planned or pure coincidence.
Jujubee should’ve won this challenge. Sure, Shea’s Flavor Flav was far better than anything I expected from Shea after her safe Naomi performance, but I didn’t get Shea’s outfit, it wasn’t that good and it didn’t read prom at all. The Carrie/Sasha reference was great, but the dress was terrible. Jujubee finally does really great on the runway and the only one really on point with the theme, together with that Eartha Kitt performance? Pfff give her the fucking win.
Alexis did a great job and stole her group’s Snatch Game from two very lackluster performances. Her makeup could’ve been better, a few mannerisms were missing, but she won in that group.
Cracker, man, why can’t Cracker do these things? And she looked so sooo good, it was automatic “Gaga!” and then….nothing. But this is exactly the thing Ru says during the walkthroughs “she’s not funny”. It’s not a funny character, she knows better. I agree with the judges that this was a regular showgirl dress.
Blair and her PhiPhi OHara wig could’ve been on the bottom if this was a regular bottom.
Bye to India and her horrible performance. It’s great she made it here and got her chance to show her stuff.
Congrats to Shea and Jujubee, I’m so glad we got these two performances (and Alexis’) and they exceeded our expectations.
