A new rule should be in place that if say that you are going to Lady Gaga or Beyonce, then you are eliminated on the spot.
When I heard that the theme was prom, then I would have either went the Carrie route or an 80s route. I was soo thrilled when I saw Shea’s and Juju’s runway. I take it that a lot of people did not see the movie Carrie so they wouldn’t get the reference, but I loved it.
I think that the truth is somewhere in the middle. I’m not mad for India Ferrah doing the Hail Mary to save herself.
Mz. Cracker can’t do any form of Snatch Game period and she is lucky in that this India/Alexis drama came up and took the heat off of her.July 4, 2020 at 5:37 pm #1203566938
Honey, no more Beyoncé and Lady Gaga impersonations. BARF! Someone was lying. India was desperately saying anything just to stay in the competition.
Rankings – Top 6:
1. Shea Couleé – funny as hell; great runway!
2. Jujubee – funny; great runway!
3. Alexis Mateo – funny; great runway!
4. Blair St. Clair – meh, runway saved her again!
5. Miz Cracker – horrible; blah runway!
6. India Ferrah – terrible performance and runway!July 5, 2020 at 11:03 am #1203569048
My only Critique of Shea was that Carrie has been done on the runway and i felt like that wasnt the best , i didnt love her tonight as much as i loved Alexis

Everyone fully got the “Carrie” references. The problems were that Raja did this look much better in her season, and Shea’s “woe is me!” routine about the Sasha debacle is starting to become a guilt crutch. Win the season on merit like you’re poised to do, not with sob stories. It didn’t help matters that Shea’s runway look was a scattered hot mess, either.July 9, 2020 at 10:33 pm #1203579379
I am glad that Shea shared her story on the main stage because the fans can be very disrespectful and messy.
Also, there was another roundtable with the Chicago Black Drag Council. The 22 minute mark is where season 4 contestant shares Dida Ritz talks about the racism in Boystown.July 10, 2020 at 8:24 am #1203579897

fuck this new format for robbing jujubee of the consistent winning run that she has delivered thus far, last week they got lucky with the tops and bottoms being so clear cut that trying anything sneaky would guarantee them an elimination when they land in the bottom, this week was pure hogwash
I started this season loving blair, and even though her performances have faltered I still think she delivered some of the best looks on the runway, but she easily should’ve been the one to go, you don’t tie a bunch of towels together and call it fashion, you just don’t
cracker started this season having me convinced that she really shed her “inner saboteur” on season 10 but her presence feels more and more unnatural by the weeks, I don’t think she did bad this week by any means, her runway while simple did have some beautiful details, but she was far from the best in both categories
alexis has had a much better run this season than the wiki page would suggest, shea might’ve had the most eventful wins but alexis and juju really were the most consistent performers this season. her dress was the most impressive garment on the stage tonight, plain and simple, it was a travesty that she was eliminated because of india’s desperate move last week
roxxxy andrews is one of the best drag performers I’ve ever seen live, she literally drives a crowd wild with the subtlest movements, I even saw her perform dangerous woman in the same coat she wore and it was everything. somehow that energy didn’t translate tonight, I love ariana but one last time is not a great lip sync song, although she still easily stomped over cracker with her stunning reveals. cracker pads in a way that makes every dance move she does read as clumsy and it’s bizarre to me that she hasn’t fixed it after two seasons on drag race
instead of the usual top 4 finale we have one more week until someone is crowned, although I’d be hard-pressed to find a way that blair survives this challengeJuly 10, 2020 at 7:17 pm #1203580713
I’m so pissed off about Alexis leaving. Ugh. She’s been so consistent week after week. If it wasn’t for India she would easily be at the top four instead of Blair.July 11, 2020 at 6:42 am #1203581007
Very disappointing to see Alexis go. This was 100% percent the chance to vote Blair out, who deserved to go even before the episode aired. After India, she was the logical choice as she has done absolutely nothing relevant this season, except for the hotel scene. And I think I’m alone in that one, so, for some people I know, the one good thing she did was her entrance look on day 1. How that translates to voting Alexis out, I don’t know.
And it can’t be that fun to have Blair around instead of Alexis, for the cast, producers, the show and us. They were both clearly in the bottom though. Alexis crossed the line between loveable crazy person, to “we can’t even understand what you’re saying”. And yes, in our cultures and families that woman wih the short curly red hair and green dress exists, but it doesn’t mean she looks good or that we needed her on this show.
Cracker looked great in both looks, she was a worthy winner. But again, how did Jujubee lose this? Is it the Cracker RuDemption storyline I predicted a while ago? Of course it is.
Jujubee lost because of the wonky seam on her hip? ‘Cause I believe that was her only criticism. I’m happy to see Cracker with another win, but this was yet another challenge Jujubee could’ve won. I did love Cracker’s bbq character and dress a lot. Both girls did great.
Shea was a mess in both looks. Love de callback to Grandrea but the rest of the look didn’t work for me. I didn’t get the veil in the second outfit at all. A backyard wedding? The veil was the only thing that made sense with that idea. She should’ve ditched that and stuck with the blue outfit which was great on its own.
I actually do think you can wrap things around and make it look good (Jujubee clearly almost did it here, Pearl in Hello Kitty), but Blair definitely didn’t. And during the entire episode she was just in the background adjusting the shoulder part over and over again.
Roxxxy was another questionable assassin, she didn’t do much, just reveals, but she looked great and it was fun. Cracker didn’t do a lot either and her padding will always be a problem.
Kameron is never gonna show up is she? (No spoilers!)
Don’t know what happens next. There won’t be a finale with a Top 4, clearly, and nobody is coming back (until they pull some shit in the finale, I’m sure).July 11, 2020 at 8:04 am #1203581147
Ugh. Alexis overplayed her hand in two ways, first by trying to Manila Shea, and then with Indiagate creating the seeds of doubt with the remaining queens that did her in tonight. She showed classic drag queen regality this cycle, and for that, she should be proud. This has introduced her to a new generation of fans like myself who didn’t watch her season, so good going there. Cracker winning was a choice, I guess. Her second dress was ill-fitting. No one really stood out here b/c this “backyard BBQ ball” was a shitty challenge theme. Alexis’s second runway was stunning. That was my fav of the episode along with Shea’s bridal look. The first set with the monologues, yikes. Jujubee, perhaps? Cracker was memorable, at least, and Shea’s nod to the infamous “90210” challenge was cute, but woofff. Blair’s second look was fine to me, or as fine as an unconventional materials sewing challenge can be. I think she should have capped at top five though. Without the shenanigans of “All-Stars” at play, I think she would have been gone by now. Roxxy as a lip-sync assassin, for what exactly? She had two shining moments on her season with the wig reveal to “Whip My Hair” and the bus stop story. No Kameron Michaels? Trinity K. Bonet? Dida Ritz? Monét is NOT an assassin. Vanjie is NOT an assassin. Morgan is NOT an assassin either. But I digress. I will say that’s how you properly pull off a 3-in-1 look, so kudos where they are warranted, Miss Roxxy! Awful Ariana song to have to lip-sync to. I thought the final four would be the finale, but another challenge is in store. Really hope Jujubee can nail this comedy challenge and secure her spot in the finale. Top 2 or top 3? Hmmmm. It’s sad to me that it looks like a S1-S3 queen is at this much of a deficit to win the crown. 3/4’s of this field are from seasons 9 & 10. Last two winners are from, you guessed it, seasons 9 & 10. Seasons 4, 5, & 7 round out the “Hall of Fame.” You have your work cut out for you, Jujubee. WoW clearly is only interested in young queens to continue the franchise moving forward, and older queens are at a marked disadvantage winning outright now.July 11, 2020 at 8:30 pm #1203582039
Honey, that lip-synch for your legacy was horrible. BARF! No more lip-synching to Ariana Grande songs.
Rankings – Top 5:
1. Shea “Sheaquesha” Couleé – bitch slayed; great runway!
2. Jujubee – funny; great runway!
3. Miz Cracker – cute; nice runway! (should NOT have won)
4. Alexis Mateo – ok; great runway!
5. Blair St. Clair – meh! (like her, but it was her time to go)
