Unless there were covid restrictions at play, this was a pretty useless episode with no stakes whatsoever. Bringing back Elliott with 2 Ts was pointless with all of that build-up to sending someone home “All-Stars” style. Not eliminating anyone until the fourth episode is wack. I do think this was the stronger of the 2 groups, but I would have liked checking in with a few others like Tamisha Iman, Kahmora, and Rosé. The bottom 2 should have been between Elliott & Joey Jay, not that it matters any. Utica Queen at least has a point-of-view and novel aesthetic that could grow over time like Crystal Methyd did. The mini challenges were fun, and most were able to pull together effective day and night looks. Elliott did that shit with her dominatrix night look, so kudos to that! No suspense with the group maxi challenge since they weren’t competing against anyone lol. The choreography came together well enough. Runway was mostly good. Ru looked superb & expensive. Raven is earning those paychecks, bitches! The clear standouts tonight being Gottmik (stunning!), Symone (black “Million Dollar Baby” realness), & Tina Burner (nice to break from her red/yellow/orange color palette, but Detox executed this Tin Man look much better). Lip-sync was great. I would have been fine with either Olivia Lux or Symone winning. Come through, pop disco icon Dua Lipa with “Break My Heart”! “Untucked” mainly had the gurls panicking over being in the bottom 2 for absolutely nothing. It was nice for Gottmik to tell her gender story, but other than that, just a load of mehhhh.January 9, 2021 at 10:42 am #1203972201

Denali did that shit tonight! The “losers circle” eclipsed the winners last week in just about every way. The group performance was leagues better, the runway was better (mainly b/c more creativity was possible with the theme), and the lip-sync was incredible! I wasn’t familiar with this Britney song, but Denali pretty much murdered it and rudeemed herself from the season premiere (which she should have won, BTW). Rosé went a bit too broad, but against a lesser competitor, she might have won that. Last week’s gurls have much to prove in the merger, so game on, bitches! Tamisha Iman also had a major breakthrough with the best runway look of the night by a landslide. Can’t wait for the two groups to meet! It’s time to send filler queens home!January 17, 2021 at 4:07 am #1203987713
Kahmora just needs to go home. She is the worst of all them. Making the judges waiting for her… well…
I wanted to like Denali… but she is so full of herself… for me she will be the villain of the season. Rosé can run for the money in such casting.
Can someone send me Joey´s number… he is just (ay mamita) i want to marry him
I love tamisha charm..
From the other group, i like Simone and Olivia. I despite Burner…
I wish Kandy wins. Its high time a big Queen wins. And a bilingual one too. But we know that Mama-Ru is quite racist regarding latin Queens.January 17, 2021 at 10:34 pm #1203988985
Honey, the losers shit all over the winners.
Rankings – Episode 3:
1. Denali – cute!
2. Rosé – cute!
3. Tamisha Iman – great/best runway look; lackluster performance
4. Utica – interesting; mediocre runway
5. Joey Jay – like that she’s bald; blah runway look
6. Kahmora – nice runway; bland personalityJanuary 18, 2021 at 3:34 am #1203989131
This is (for lack of a better term) the most extra thing that ever graced Drag Race
Emmys FYC: Alan Tudyk in “Resident Alien”, Billie Piper in “I Hate Suzie”, Ego Nwodim in “Saturday Night Live”, Kaley Cuoco in “Harley Quinn”
“Dickinson”, “P-Valley”, “Pose” & “Superstore” in all categoriesJanuary 20, 2021 at 11:03 am #1203993324

The writing was on the wall for KAHmora Hall since her first episode when she struggled to get to the stage on the time & had difficulties picking up the choreography for the group number. Tonight sealed it with her wooden performance in the acting challenge (as a TREE! the irony lmao). I think she might have done better in the lip-sync with an outfit actually designed for that instead of a constricting ballgown and train. But then Denali murdered her lip-sync again, so there might not have been any other option for elimination. Denali shouldn’t have been in the bottom 2 anyways. The worst of this insipid Hallmark challenge were Lala Ri (only impressive in runways and nothing else) and Kahmora. Maybe Denali should have read the script first before taking on the largest role, but she anchored her group well enough. I was hoping for a winning group instead of judging individually. Symone was the clear standout and is already getting the winner’s edit, unless the judges turn on her midway in the season for not being “refined” or “polished” enough. I wouldn’t want to be a frontrunner just yet, or whenever TPTB starts to interfere with things. Rosé was right there with Symone in the top tier. Nice to see the queens finally together. Elliott with 2 Ts getting her clapback moment in the workroom was cute, and then the staredown between Elliott & Tamisha Iman was everything. Speaking of Miss Iman, old videos are surfacing on YouTube of past performances of hers from pageants. They’re absolutely stunning to watch, and I get why she said in the promos that she can’t do what she used to (early 2000s). If “Drag Race” had been around back then, she would have won easily, and if her hiatus hadn’t happened, she might have been on in the early seasons. From what I saw, I think she could have won over Bebe, Tyra Sanchez, & possibly even Raja. Everything happens for a reason, yada, yada, yada, but it’ll be interesting to see if she can play the game at the level that drag is being done now versus the past. These gurls aren’t playing around this season! The lip-sync song choices have been great so far this season too. Crystal Waters! I think the producers noticed the feedback from last season’s lackluster choices and changed course this season. Let’s hope it lasts!
