I feel bad for Kahmora Hall and I hope that Kahmora gets out of that relationship. It is not good to be with someone who does not believe in you. That self doubt came through.
Kudos to Utica for wearing the curtains down the runway circa Carol Burnett from The Carol Burnett Show.January 29, 2021 at 1:41 am #1204008014
Episode Title: “The Bag Ball”

The writing was on the wall for KAHmora Hall since her first episode when she struggled to get to the stage on the time & had difficulties picking up the choreography for the group number. Tonight sealed it with her wooden performance in the acting challenge (as a TREE! the irony lmao). I think she might have done better in the lip-sync with an outfit actually designed for that instead of a constricting ballgown and train. But then Denali murdered her lip-sync again, so there might not have been any other option for elimination. Denali shouldn’t have been in the bottom 2 anyways. The worst of this insipid Hallmark challenge were Lala Ri (only impressive in runways and nothing else) and Kahmora. Maybe Denali should have read the script first before taking on the largest role, but she anchored her group well enough. I was hoping for a winning group instead of judging individually. Symone was the clear standout and is already getting the winner’s edit, unless the judges turn on her midway in the season for not being “refined” or “polished” enough. I wouldn’t want to be a frontrunner just yet, or whenever TPTB starts to interfere with things. Rosé was right there with Symone in the top tier. Nice to see the queens finally together. Elliott with 2 Ts getting her clapback moment in the workroom was cute, and then the staredown between Elliott & Tamisha Iman was everything. Speaking of Miss Iman, old videos are surfacing on YouTube of past performances of hers from pageants. They’re absolutely stunning to watch, and I get why she said in the promos that she can’t do what she used to (early 2000s). If “Drag Race” had been around back then, she would have won easily, and if her hiatus hadn’t happened, she might have been on in the early seasons. From what I saw, I think she could have won over Bebe, Tyra Sanchez, & possibly even Raja. Everything happens for a reason, yada, yada, yada, but it’ll be interesting to see if she can play the game at the level that drag is being done now versus the past. These gurls aren’t playing around this season! The lip-sync song choices have been great so far this season too. Crystal Waters! I think the producers noticed the feedback from last season’s lackluster choices and changed course this season. Let’s hope it lasts!

“Untucked” was LITTT AS FUCKKK!!! Are you bitches really not watching this epicness? I thought Tamisha & Kandy genuinely could have fought tonight. It was like that! I’m not exaggerating at all! I can barely talk about the rest of the bag ball episode, only to say that Lala Ri might have made the worst outfit I’ve ever seen in “Drag Race” herstory. There have been contestants on “Project Runway” who have made better looks with junkyard scraps. Her basic Atlanta ass should have gone home just for that look. The lip-sync solely saved her when it shouldn’t have. Joey Jay was meh, but I would have given her a pass this one week. Moral of the story is: if you’re not watching “Untucked,” you’re only getting half of the story lol.January 30, 2021 at 11:46 am #1204009985

Such a nonsensical, poorly executed episode. Tamisha didn’t deserve that, even though I could see her ceiling on
the show happening sooner rather than later. The disco choreography was ridiculous. Too short for anyone to really stand out, and some atrocious costumes on multiple teams. The “LBD” runway shouldn’t have been this mixed. Super-easy assignment, and some of the mess that I saw would have led to easy eliminations in other seasons. It’s clear TPTB want to keep Tina, Kandy, Utica, etc., around for the long-haul. Gottmik’s naked look was a riff on Valentina’s Madonna look, so that impressed me less. Olivia Lux shined, which was necessary for her after weeks of receding into the background. It’s pretty strategic that they aren’t allowing Symone to take every win, b/c they don’t want backlash to happen as she sails to an easy crown. The bottom 2 was eye-rolling, b/c the moment it was announced, Tamisha was a goner. Kandy’s runway and makeup were both wretched, and much more “drama” could have been mined keeping this volatile combo around longer. Bad producers! I think they’re recycling guest judges this season b/c of covid. And no disco song for this lip-sync? How stupid. Blu Cantrell? Yuck. Kandy did far too much with a song like that. Tamisha flowed with the vibe of the song much better. But whatever. thank u, next.February 6, 2021 at 11:48 am #1204027139
No disco lip synch song for a disco challenge – what were they thinking?
Tamisha will be back either for an All-Stars or another season. I like Tamisha a lot and she gave great face in her lip synch.
There needs to be a main challenge that gets at gay history. Them not knowing Charles Nelson Reily – not good at all. Charles Nelson Reily was one of the mainstays on The Match Game of the mid 70s to early 80s.
