Congrats to Jonny. I couldn’t have accepted any other result, to be honest. Yes, the top 3 was great, all talented, and much better than the results from Next in Fashion which were a disaster in the end.

Sander still needs time, Esther needs more “Sweetie, color is a good thing” classes, TED talks, courses and conversations with…whoever, I don’t care anymore. I was very put off by this whole situation, and I didn’t care for at least half her runway. But she’s very good and did have some excellent things to show during the final runway and the entire show.

But Jonny is my very clear winner and it’s been this way for a while. He deserved the whole thing, he had his thing clear. And he did some pretty amazing things that everybody would wear.

I liked the show a lot. Really enjoyed the show being about wearable, sellable clothes, the whole business dynamic and the pop up shop as the final challenge, which hopefully stays as a main final challenge for future seasons as it makes a lot of sense with what the show is about.

I loved having Tim and Heidi back, Naomi was a perfect judge, Nicole is always great, Joseph did a nice job, they can all stay for a second season, I think it’s a great panel. Chiara can go. Not that she was bad, but her robotic attitude made you wonder why Nicole couldn’t make it to Tokio every single episode she was in.

Give us a second season Amazon, your shitty platform doesn’t have any other original shows I wanna watch. (Sorry, Mrs Maisel, I want to, but I don’t think it’s ever gonna happen.)

So happy Jonny won. He was my favorite all season. I thought it should’ve been Sander and him in the final two, but it doesn’t really matter because he won.

Congrats to Jonny! He wasn’t really my favorite throughout the competition, but I can’t argue with the win. He clearly deserved it, especially after the last two episodes. He’s someone who really does feel like the full package of what they were looking for, already having a business and an infrastructure which, with some mentoring and guidance, could make the leap to the next level.

There were a lot of great things about this show, and I also like the ways it differs from Project Runway, like the sellability and accessibility of the fashions and the focus on the business aspect of things. I hope we get another season, and I agree, keep Heidi, Tim, Naomi, Joseph and Nicole. It was so great having Nicole back once they returned to New York. Both Carine and Chiara were fine. I think Carine brought a little more of a different sensibility that I kind of liked, where Chiara feels more like overlapping with Heidi and Nicole.
