So this week the Theme was Distressed looks. i was very excited for this challenge and it would be sooo much fun to compete in .
While i enjoy the distressed jacket i dont think it fits the theme and as it looks more like a music festival look than a apocalypse look
He had the winning look and i agree it was pretty spectacular especially for him , i really enjoyed the look and i think Annes advice really helped him see the look from a different point of view.
Gorgeous … she is killing it this season … so beautiful
her look was boring … didn’t make sense in terms of the challenge and like someone on the show said why was she a firefighter without burn marks ?

i think the look is ok … the wig is horrible … im not impressed
Very impressed with this look, while he is not one of my favs i loved this look , for me it was one of the top looks of the week.
so while this doesn’t fit the challenge as a while and i do agree somewhat with it being in the bottom i dont think under any circumstances she should have been eliminated .
this is a good look , i enjoyed the burning effects and the shape … i wouldnt have put her in the top but i liked it .

he should have gone home … this is ugly as sin. its both a boring dress and an ugly one.. there isnt enough distressing and its simple unappealing
this does nothing for me … she looks like a carnival ring leader
Love the hair and the high collar … other wise kinda boring.
i hate this look … its a melted shower curtain with a golf visor…. NO

this is so cute … i dont know how distressed it looks but damn it nice… i totally see this being worn in a residential evil movie …

Of course Melissa and Ari are gone. This season is a huge mess. How did Merline survive this? One of the worst things ever on the show and Candace’s wasn’t good either.
I knew the moment we got some Melissa time she would be gone. She was mostly in the background before. Once the editors use you, you’re gone. Both her and Ari had much better work on the runway than the other two.
Nice and deserved win for Fabio and Ken. Kimberly and Anthony also did great.
Whoopi being a judge made sense and then it didn’t and then it did again. It was weird.January 20, 2018 at 10:45 am #1202471911
Between Candice/Merline and Melissa/Ari, of course the latter pair goes home. One’s a duo of major personalities and contrasting styles, while the other duo is just kinda there. Melissa has no real design aesthetic of her own, so whatever. Ari had far more to show, and I’m personally fascinated with her transition. Very sad to see her go. I though we weren’t getting anymore team challenges! This was just for the shock of the double elimination. Liked the inspiration for the food/wine pairings with the fancy dining experience. Ken and Fabio nailed it! Much deserved wins. Whoopi guest-judging was both bizarre and cool. Miss Heidi and Tim Gunn dearly. Anne is just meh, and Alyssa Milano can go at anytime whatsoever. Isaac Mizrahi > Zac Posen; Nina effin’ Garcia > Georgina Chapman any day of the week.January 31, 2018 at 12:27 pm #1202484461
This week had a little better judging, although I can’t see why Helen was in the bottom. Obviously Amanda was going to be up there since she basically announced it early in the episode and then the editors centered on her the others who were on the stage.
And the whole drama was much needed for what is becoming a very dull season.
I don’t see why Stanley won, I don’t care for Stanley, I’m not even entirely convinced Stanley was ever on Project Runway.
Candace was the other one who announced early on she would be criticized and rightfully went home.
Georgina was very bitchy towards her with a comment like “you should’ve known in the first hour this was bad and should’ve corrected it”. She was right, of course. But for a second, I wanted to be Candace and say “well you should’ve known in the first hour of meeting Harvey that it was bad should’ve corrected THAT situation”.
Anyway. Nice twist on the castle, and the “ball” gown, although the whole gown thing wasn’t really important to several people and they just let it slide.February 2, 2018 at 4:05 am #1202485768
Kimberly should have won this challenge. Flirty and inventive in all the right ways. Her model really sold the look as well. Totally fine with Candice going home for her atrocious look. Amanda could have gone with her for all I care. She’s had way too many chances to stay this mediocre and coasting. Helen is still the worst, isn’t she? Manufactured drama if I’ve ever seen it, but I guess this season desparately needed some of that. Great challenge idea with the “ball” gowns lol!February 3, 2018 at 4:35 pm #1202486687
I am disgusted and bored with Project Runway All Stars season 6. All Stars has really slid downhill; its format is tired (especially following the reconceived last season of Project Runway which was great!); all the designers all looked unhappy and depressed from the first episode on; and the frumpy-dumpy bitchy “mentor” has got to go. I find it hard to understand why they would go from Joanna Coles and Zanna to this woman even if she is the editor-in-chief for Marie Claire (she would be a better fit for Good Housekeeping). Her feedback is cursory and unconstructive; walks in and walks out – done. Who wins and who is eliminated seems like it has been predetermined. I can’t believe Kelly Dempsey, Amanda Valentine and Melissa Fleis would go before Merline….seriously!? The designing overall has been lackluster and dull. I am really disappointed this year. May not even watch the rest of the season. I’ll wait for Tim and Heidi!February 5, 2018 at 8:44 am #1202487775
I am so angry about this season , its infuriating to me that both Stanley ( who hasn’t made one thing that worthy of the show imo ) and merline who should have never been cast on the show due to her extreme lack of sewing skills are still in this competition over Kelly, Ari, Candance and Amanda all finalists from their own seasons. I am rooting for Anthony to take the win now that Amanda is gone , i think its going to go to Fabio or Ken though

Amanda’s look was pretty lackluster, so I’m fine with her elimination. It seemed like she stalled with her progression this season and was content with being safe all the time. Like her personality-wise, but there are stronger overall designers above her here. Totally would have picked Anthony (ridiculous as he is in general) over Fabio in this “superhero”-inspired challenge. I don’t think Fabio’s obliqueness quite nailed the challenge inspiration as some of the others did. I wouldn’t have had Ken in that top three at all. It was as messy a final product as Merline’s was. Char’s design was sensational and win-worthy. Joshua’s design had some Kentaro flair to it that I thought the judges might appreciate, but yes, different judging panels have differing tastes. I even liked Kimberly’s and Helen’s designs more than Ken’s. Merline pretty much has to go next episode, barring some incredible breakthrough or can’t-lose challenge for her to excel in. I think that the “sister wives” will be kept intact for a few episodes longer lol.February 7, 2018 at 6:27 am #1202489207
Amanda has always been a favorite for me, but this dress was awful. She deserved to go. Forgot the other guys name on the bottom, he needs to go too. The judges also need to stop pretending Merline is ever going to do something better than this repetitive thing she’s doing.
The editors need to step it up and make the results a little less predictable. You can tell who the top and bottom much easier than ever this season.
Fabio deserved his win. Anthony could’ve won too.February 10, 2018 at 9:44 pm #1202491517
Not surprised to see Char go. She seemed out of her depth yet again, and this time around, she doesn’t have Tim Gunn to save her. Supposedly, she picked the wrong neoprene weight and couldn’t work well with that? Guess it’s considered a pretty basic fabric to manipulate. Ken’s confessionals were totally on point despite their cattiness. Between Helen and Joshua, I guess that the latter’s win is okay. No one really captured the inherent sexiness of Betty Boop, but only what they would normally design only amped up a bit more. Didn’t see anything in Stanley’s design that was inspired by the character, for example. And no one thought to use red? Joshua’s look was pretty vulgar, but Helen’s asymmetrical pants bothered me more. Interesting challenge regardless.February 11, 2018 at 8:48 am #1202491755
Char wasn’t going anywhere so her being eliminated changes nothing. And of course the minute she got a confessional we were like “she’s out!”, after barely being present at all during the season.
Merline once again sucked, Stanley did nothing special here, it was like Paris Hilton going to her grandma’s house, same dress/length, but with a high collar so she doesn’t look slutty.
Not one person managed to understand what was a pretty great challenge idea. Everybody did whatever the fuck they wanted to do except Joshua. He didn’t actually do a great thing either, he just understood the challenge. It was tacky and slutty and when Betty Boop came out wearing it, it was…tacky and slutty.
I think Helen had the best look and would’ve been my winner. Kimberly’s look was terrific, but for another challenge. Betty Boop in pants? Really?
