New network, new season, & new thread!
Premieres Friday, January 6, 2023 @ 8 PM ET on MTV. No idea why the networks changed, but both are owned by Viacom anyways.
The “Meet the Queens” RuVeal just dropped today on YouTube. Looks like a lively group of gurls this season!

ReplyCopy URLDecember 14, 2022 at 7:43 am #1205194140I don’t know much about Sasha but she’s very clearly very beloved. I can’t tell if the producers are going to take advantage of the love people have for her and keep her until the end or stir up some drama and make her look bad.
And the inevitable twin-twin lip sync will be iconic lol.
ReplyCopy URLDecember 14, 2022 at 10:50 am #1205194745Utterly shameless having twins on a season, and I’m living for it! They’ll have to lip-sync against each other one week as sure as anything, and either a double shantay, double sashay, or a family is torn apart forever lmao.
Really wanted a plus-sized queen to finally win outright, but Sasha Colby is there, so oh well to that.
What’s the story behind the network move? It’s not like VH-1 remotely has any other award contenders in its roster, and it was likely the biggest ratings hit.

and yeah! My 2 favorites so far.
I did not make the connection. This week is….not my week right now. Long story short, my dog died in August and his birthday is today and we uusally do like a whole thing for them like a toy a day or whatever and I’m a tad bit depressed this week. lol

Synopsis: She’s back again; the unbearably long wait is over as RuPaul returns with a brand-new field of gorgeous and talented sequin-sporting queens; the new cast must show off their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent with a talent-show performance; mega-superstar singer and fashion icon Ariana Grande serves as guest judge.

Really liked the talent show and most of the hijinks during the premiere with the choreography drama, casts merging, and the sew room scenes. Ariana was an excellent guest judge and redeemed herself from last appearance. “7 Rings” was a horrible lip-sync song choice though. Excited about this season’s crop of queens! Sasha Colby could very well run away with the season outright, but she will have some competition too, I think. Let’s go, bitches!
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 8, 2023 at 11:01 am #1205227181I like them all. Kinda hard to root againt any of them. Just going to throw random names into my predictions since they all seem like genuinely fun people.

Synopsis: In a heavenly acting challenge, the remaining queens must create infomercials for a queer afterlife; country singer Maren Morris and LQBT activist TS Madison serve as guest judges; another contestant is eliminated from the competition.
