ru is really living her oprah fantasy with these results, I guess you do what you can when the cast is this small

it’s been weird watching ru explaining every single drag slang every single episode, does anyone watching this really need to be told what tea means? the amount of feces jokes in the reading challenge is astounding, but somehow it’s much funnier when told with a british accent? idk if crystal’s reads were really the best but her literally copying alaska’s “I don’t know what came over me” bit was a turnoff

every week we realize how much truth was actually in charlie hides’ exit, there are some genuinely listenable vocalists in this cast (and divina’s whistle notes? god bless), but nothing will be more memorable than blu quoting the iconic cock destroyers and “I’m a singer, cheryl’s a choreographer, crystal’s… skinny”

the performances are pretty one-sided, vivienne and crystal struggled with lip-syncing the words and keeping up with basic choreography, cheryl looked like alyssa edwards herself next to those two. the other group all gave stellar performances, but it’s pretty easy to pinpoint divina as the true standout with her gimmicks, being the glue that holds the group together, and absolute serve on the runway, also have to point out blu’s outfit being exactly like india ferrah’s during the infamous lifting incident

jade thirlwall represents what it looks like when a true superfan is on the judging panel, lots of enthusiasm and a well-appreciated simon cowell read. blu, crystal and divina continue to serve polished high-concept looks on the runway, with divina’s high fashion jockey taking the top toot for me. vivienne’s polish alone was able to carry her in the first two weeks but now that the others are catching up she’s just… pretty. cheryl and baga continue to be cheryl and baga.

I thought vivienne was gonna turn it out… well I was wrong, but also the song is kind of a terrible choice, both girls did what they can with what’s given, doesn’t stop this from one of the most enjoyable episodes in this series so far

this is a very charismatic and witty bunch so I’m excited for next week’s challenge, plus according to bbc’s descriptions, there’s gonna be a cameo from katya so yay!

The girls that were left at the beginning of the episode are the best girls this season. I thought Crystal was gonna do better and go further, maybe even top 3. But I also like everybody left the same as her, so I’m ok with her leaving.

I don’t think there’s anywhere left for Cheryl Hole to hide. This next episode will most likely be it for her at the rate she’s going. It truly is Alyssa Season 5. So good, so funny, so tacky and unprepared.

The Vivienne slipped, but I’m still confident she’s in the Top 3.

the fact that divina’s instant reaction to the slightest shade thrown her way is to immediately shoot off her resume sends me

this was a rather messy episode, no one did particularly good, vivienne pulled together her best look yet so I guess she won by default

cheryl finally delivers (?) in the lip sync, a second rate alyssa performance is probably still better than what everyone else is capable of, blu did much better than her first one and they both looked great in their iridescent ensemble

I’m gonna miss blu’s confessionals and runways most of all, she’s was a delightful presence on this season. next week they’ll probably use a campy musical lip sync song to get rid of cheryl since baga is guaranteed to tank the makeover

Blu was great. She will be missed.

The lip sync was so good compared to all the previous ones, that I thought it would be a double shantay.

I was also sure Divina was in the bottom 2 since her commercial was bad and her look was definitely not the best. And she took over the episode with her complaining, so it looked like a possibility.

But it made for a nice storyline to have Cheryl in the bottom 2 in front of Cheryl which we all predicted anyway.

The show has been renewed for season 2, by the way. The news came out this week, but my stream showed Ru inviting girls to join the next season, I hadn’t seen that before. Maybe it’s been going on for weeks.

    2 episodes left…

I love Baga, but she should have been in the bottom 2 last week. I think Ru saved her because she knew she wouldn’t have beaten Cheryl Hole in the lip sync.

This week’s episode was good. Really loved Divina’s sister. She reminded me of Casey Wilson, so maybe that’s why. And they deserved their win, possibly Vivienne and The Mother deserved it too.

I don’t quite understand how in the context of this episode anybody can decide to send Cheryl home. Baga did terrible in the challenge, threw her mom under the bus not once, but several times back to back and Cheryl clearly had the best lip sync. So…how did that happen?

They (and we) really wanted Baga in the finale and that’s fine, and she has a good track record, but it didn’t play out that well because of what happened during the episode.

Cheryl was a great contestant, I really got into her and I think she was very funny last night. She earned her spot on All Stars 6 or a future UK All Stars along with Blu, Crystal and whoever loses next week.

what a way for cheryl to go out, on a night when she should’ve won the challenge, bodysuits or not she nailed the family resemblance more than anyone else, she’s proven herself to be a star no matter how many times she lands in the bottom

I think baga won that lip sync hands down, she may not have done much but served up a deliciously campy performance, chez looked beautiful twirling around but it wasn’t enough

this win going to divina probably says a lot about who the producers are favoring for the crown atm

Glad to see The Vivienne win. I think the Top 2 was correct and the only other logical choice for the win was Divina, since Baga screwed herself in many ways near the end of the show.

However, The Vivienne stepped up, did great in the challenge, looked the best in the final runway (the red wig Divina? Again? With the same hairdo? Come on). And her speech at the end was great too. Plus, when they were reviewing them all, Ru basically declared Vivienne the winner with his words.

She can look many different ways, she looks classy, she’s funny, she’s a great performer, her Snatch Game performance I think is the best ever along with maybe Jinkx, and she’s been the winner all along. Whatever one needs for a first time queen to start this UK legacy, she was always it.

Divina, with the exception of her terrible fake laugh, was always good. But I prefer The Vivienne during the show’s run and during this episode.

Good luck to Baga, she was also a great queen and a great member of this season.

This didn’t end up as horrible as it looked when the show began, whatever they do next they NEED to tell the queens to get their shit together during the lip syncs, cause that was the real worst unacceptable part of the season. And contestants like Vinegar Strokes cannot happen again.

This is still better than Season 11. The Vivienne, Divina, Baga and Blu would’ve kicked a lot of season 11 asses including the awful final 4 from that season.

Forgot to mention, I have to assume at least one person at WOW already thought about either bringing some
of these girls to All Star 6, or have it be some sort of UK vs Regular Drag Race battle. It’s a good gimmick that might work and automatically brings the girls even closer to the US and does half the casting job already.

Every eliminated queen from Crystal to Divina can join, that’s 5 (great) girls right there, complete that with the likes of Vanjie, and more S11 S12 girls and past queens.

They love a gimmick, they love a stunt, this was already an ANTM season once, and Project Runway All Stars just did something similar. It makes sense.

They’re already bringing back Mariah, Jujubee, Alexis and others from way way back, so they’re either running out of options, or an early girls vs newer girls gimmick is behind this. So, yeah, here’s another easy gimmick.

the vivienne is a deserving winner, it’s especially refreshing to see the polished bitchy queen win over the weirdo underdog again, we really don’t need more hamfisted narratives

speaking of narratives, they really did the most with divina this episode, hell her dance routine was literally a carbon copy of katya’s read u wrote u number, something tells me if vh1 had been behind this she would’ve definitely been crowned

baga was more endearing this episode than ever, I find her hilarious and charismatic but it just always seemed put-on and after her revelations tonight it kind of made sense, she’s a great queen but top 3 was as far as she deserved to go, hire some better designers and she’ll shine even brighter when she does all-stars

it was a pleasant surprise to have the eliminated queens give a mini-runway, and the final 3 should be grateful they went after the actual runway cuz blu easily outshines all of them with her look. viv had the best look of the top 3 hands down, I don’t know what divina was thinking with that basic flag dress, especially since she’s clearly capable of some sickening fashion

in a lot of ways, this felt like an all stars season, shorter span, smaller cast, three obvious stunt cast fillers (maybe not gothy but they had to know what her runway walk would be like from the tape right?) to give the great queens space to shine, and ru giving away wins oprah style to make sure everyone’s report card looks good in the end, and the lip syncs are so uneventful they just felt like an excuse to get rid of whoever should go anyway

I liked this season a lot, might even say loved it, which is rare considering how devoid of drama this season has been, it’s a genuinely lovable cast that all got their fair chance to blossom, and that’s honestly what recent seasons of american drag race have been lacking, of course, a little british humor never hurts

I look forward, but not without reservations, to the next season, if season 11 proved anything it’s that the caliber of drag displayed actually influences the viewing experience more than one would think, the british queens had a sort of late-season bloom in the runway department and never really picked it up in the lip-syncs (except for cheryl of course). I’m sure finding another likable bunch of queens won’t be hard, the trouble is whether most if not all of them will be, for the lack of a better phrase, good at drag

Well, Baga’s speech did not do her any favors. Sorry, if I get to the top 3 and I am asked why I should win – you better believe that I will be ready to state why I should win.

I was rooting for Davina to win, but The Vivienne is a good choice too. I see Davina being more hilarious in a show than The Vivienne.

Team Divina, but I totally see the reasons why The Vivienne ended up winning the crown. Baga was happy and lucky to be in the final three. I thought that Cheryl Hole deserved the win for the makeover challenge, which would have upset the pre-ordained final three, but whatever. Now at least I know who the real Cheryl is lol. Lively, streamlined season that became better as it went along, probably reaching a peak at Snatch Game with Baga’s memorable Thatcher and quite possibly the best Trump impersonation we’re ever gonna get from the Vivienne. I wasn’t impressed with the group as a whole from the promos, but they more than grew on me as the season progressed. The UK drag aesthetic is just different from the US in various ways, and that takes a while to adjust to. Yay for the season 2 pickup, which was never in question, I realize. We’ll also see some of these gurls back in future All-Stars installments as well, I’m sure.
