As long as Tai doesn’t win I’m good. His gameplay was a bit all over the place.May 12, 2016 at 8:43 am #1201832529
It’s nuts how tough this season has been. I’ll add all these medical issues to the list of reasons why I should never imagine I’d want to be on Survivor. Good heavens.
I felt bad for Joe, but yeah, you could definitely see it coming. There certainly have been do-nothing characters who’ve made it to the end before (in terms of impacting the game I mean), but Joe has seemed like very little more than a second vote for Aubrey for a long time now. If he were going to actually be at final tribal, surely they would have tried to give us something more with him, right?
I’m glad the predictions game is back for the finale, but I’m sooooo conflicted. It’s been kind of a relief not worrying if the game is going the way I predicted it would over the last few weeks. I think Cydney will feel the most pressure to try to win immunity for the next challenge, followed by Michele, though maybe not. They still don’t seem to be thinking that they need to get rid of Aubrey yet, which would probably benefit everyone.May 12, 2016 at 10:36 am #1201832580
The winner is probably going to be Cydney or Aubrey, and both of them know that. I like them both, because Aubrey is very intelligent in the way she plays the game, and Cydney is brave and respectful (I loved her calling Joe “Mr. Joe” all season). Tai wouldn’t get enough votes but he’s devisive enough to be brought back for another season, and Michele just hasn’t done enough to get jury votes, in my opinion.May 12, 2016 at 11:50 am #1201832617
The way I see it playing out is Cydney wins immunity and her and Aubry get Michelle to vote out Tai. Then, Aubry or Michelle win immunity, probably Aubry, and vote out Cydney. Then in the final vote I imagine the votes go like this:
Neal- Aubry. Good relationship in game.
Nick- Aubry. Seems like the type to respect her game, not the bitter type.
Debbie- Aubry. Same as Nick, will respect Aubry’s betrayal as a strategy and vote for her.
Scot- Michelle. Seems very bitter, will vote for who pissed him off least.
Julia- Michelle. Very close in game and I think that wins her vote.
Jason- Aubry. not sure why, just a gut feeling that he wont be bitter
Joe- Aubry. Obviously
Tai- Michelle? Could go either way depending on how exactly he goes out.
Cydney- Aubry. Out of everyone I expect her to realize how well Aubry played.
That works out to, 4 most likely locked in votes for Aubry, 2 locked for Michelle, with 3 that I think could go either way. So, best case scenario for Michelle I think is a 5-4 win, but I find it much more likely that the vote works out to a 6-3 or 7-2 win for Aubry.May 14, 2016 at 8:21 am #1201835857
Ok it’s a final two And someone gets an advantage in the final2. I still think Michelle’s got this
Neal- Aubrey (early allies didn’t cross each other)
Nick- Michelle (he and Michelle are now together so I don’t think he’s bitter)
Debbie- Michelle (She trusted Aubrey and got stabbed in the back really for no reason)
Scott- Michelle (bitter)
Julia- Michelle (Friends)
Jason- Michelle (bitter)
Joe- Aubrey (easy pick)
Cydney- Aubrey (will probably vote for the better game)
Tai- Aubrey (he’s vote is the biggest toss up.May 18, 2016 at 6:16 pm #1201838923
Ok it’s a final 3 Tai-Michelle-Aubrey and Michelle gets to vote out a Jury Member. My bets on Joe or Neal who was very Vocal during Aubreys Fire Making challenge. My bets on Neal.May 18, 2016 at 7:11 pm #1201838934
Michelle is the sole survivor with a vote of 5-2-0. With Aubrey being 1st Runner Up.May 18, 2016 at 7:22 pm #1201838939
The vote was
Cydney- MMay 18, 2016 at 8:49 pm #1201838930
Michelle voted out Neil who insulted her game as he walked by her and Michelle just laughed at him and said “I guess I made the right choice”
So the jury is now
I can’t see Tai getting any votes.
So I believe The only locked votes are Julia (Michelle) and Joe (Aubrey). I can see Cydney voting Michelle because she was Loyal to her.May 18, 2016 at 10:18 pm #1201838963
Michelle had no business winning this season. Aubry outplayed her in every aspect and honestly got robbed by this jury. Michelle not only shouldn’t have won, but she shouldn’t have gotten any votes, even though Julia was going to vote for her no matter what. She coasted all the way to the final three and even though they tried to make it seem like she turned it on in the final days, she really didn’t do anything and there was no reason to vote for her, so why 5 people did is beyond me. Tai deserved it more in my mind than Michelle. It is a shadow over an otherwise great season and I choose to think of Aubry as the real winner this season despite the reality.May 19, 2016 at 1:19 am #1201838988
People are crazy to think Michelle doesn’t deserve to win. She only when to 7 tribal councils, she was never a target until top 6 and she talked her way out of trouble, she was the only person to win Immunity twice and won the most challenges this season. She played a flawless social game and was the best Talker of the season. She not only took a vote from Aubrey but Neil trying to help Aubrey with his ridiculous comment on his was out only made her look better.
Michelle wins in every possible way. If it was a final two she wins final immunity and votes out Aubrey and beats Tai.
She played a loyal game and it payed off. Aubrey cut Debbie and Cydney and Tai cut Jason and Scot who where very bitter.May 19, 2016 at 9:00 am #1201839094
It’s not like Michele won through magic or something. Everyone knows that when you get to the end of the game, you need jury votes, so the best way to play is to do what keeps you in without pissing off the jury, which Michele did quite nicely. Don’t get me wrong, though, I think most of the jury had pretty positive feelings about Aubry, despite not voting for her, but just liked Michele better or felt more of a bond with her. Aubry presented herself as the person who was making eliminations happen for everyone who ended up on the jury (who wasn’t pulled for medical reasons), and Tai looked like a wishy washy, overly emotional schemer who was trying to make it to the end by any means necessary. By contrast, Michele seemed like the person Aubry was unable to get rid of, which probably gave most of the jury members a feeling of kinship. She worked her way into the majority alliance when she needed to, and won immunity when she needed it. The fact that she won more challenges than anyone else just shows that she wasn’t just lucky to be on tribes that didn’t have to go to tribal council for so long. She was part of the reason why, and it should be seen as a positive thing, not a flaw. And I love how hung up people get on the outwit aspect of things. If you see someone outsmarting you even though they’ll later want you to vote for them, it’s worth considering that they aren’t doing the best job of that.
Good for Michele for winning, and I also congratulate Aubry on a job well done. It would have been interesting seeing how Michele fared with Cydney in the final tribal council. The whole argument that Michele was carried along would have probably it a lot harder if her pal Cydney was there saying she’d kept Michele in a couple of times when she would have been voted out. In hindsight, Aubry saying that all of her big moves were Cydney’s idea was probably also not that great for her at final tribal.
I never thought Tai had a shot, but I did think the Vietnamese saying that she shared about the hyacinths in the water was beautiful.
