Yeah, I’m usually pretty good with getting the characters down quickly, but I can’t even picture who Chelsea.

I agree the swap happened way too early. Did the Naviti tribe seem that much better than Malolo? I also was annoyed that they voted out Morgan, though I guess I get it in that getting rid of Morgan or Wendell would still leave two warring factions among the former Naviti and in theory let the Malolo group be in control. We’ll see if that works out.

I was so proud of little Donathan being so adequate in the challenge!

Chelsea finally speaks and it is to announce that she is sitting out of the challenge.  How meta.  And then she gets her second line later in the episode and it is subtitled.

    No, I loved Brendan!

Poor mike, he went with his gut. Alas he choose wrongly, he should have seen the reactions from bradley when he said he was playing this for me and brenden. Reactions are everything and bradley’s is easy to read.

That was an interesting tribal…..Brendan I feel bad for. Michael on the other hand had me laughing. Learn to read faces buddy. I still like James the least out of everyone but Bradley is a close second.

I felt bad for Brendan, but I’m glad they didn’t vote Michael out. It was a good idea to try to shake things up by claiming the idol could protect two people, but yeah, that none of them were able to get a clue that Stephanie wasn’t in danger is a shame. I also wonder if some little tweaks could have changed things, like giving the group the full court press on voting Bradley out and then waiting until the last minute to reveal the idol, causing people to potentially panic, or if, instead of going hard after Bradley, the former Malolos offered to just vote with the first person who agreed to jump sides.

It also seems like none of the outnumbered Malolos is pointing out that sticking with the former Navitis isn’t going to be an effective strategy at the merge if the Navitis on the other tribe are being voted out. I like this season so far. These people are here to play for sure.

Chris’s target hitting was insane.  Some of those were uninterrupted takes too.  He remains the only person who has never been to tribal council.  Four consecutive losses!  Serves Malolo right for voting out Brendan.  Instead, they had to rely on Chelsea for immunity and she kept falling in the water.  And at this point, I see no reason why they would ever stop losing.  The preview showed another tribe swap, which is indeed some much-needed producer intervention.

Not the greatest episode, given its predictability.  You could tell that the editors did not have much to work with, given how long the tribal council was.  And then it was unanimous!  So they were all in on it.  Even the Donathan stuff was reaching in terms of engaging content.  Stephanie seems to be a favourite, but I was not a fan of her, so the outcome is fine by me.  That was a gamble though, with how Desiree would have gone home with just one vote if Stephanie had gotten some advantage on Ghost Island.

I completely diagree with who they voted out. I would have been targeting Michael after last week immediately. Big mistake on their part if they keep him all the way to the merge. He can win individual immunity easily.

Yes it was shocking, she had the best edit so far. i guess they saw her as the bigger threat, Michael’s speech might have changed their minds. But i doubt so as it was unanimous.

In terms of edit, I feel like they are giving some really good ones to a couple of people but can’t shake the feeling that Sebastian is really flying under the radar.

I was pretty sad to see Stephanie go, but glad it wasn’t Michael. Looks like there will be another tribe shakeup this week, and the lesson these guys should be learning from it is that sticking blindly to alliances based on your previous tribe isn’t really all that helpful in the long term. The former Navitis on the current Malolo tribe would be better off considering the whole group when making plans rather than voting out the buffest guy and then Stephanie because she was strategic and came from the other tribe previously. Just my opinion, I guess.

I could kind of see the Sebastian/Malcolm comparison, but I’m liking Sea Bass (that is a pretty great nickname) less and less.

Chris totally seems like the kind of guy who will not have to go to tribal until like halfway through the season and then will immediately get voted out.

Ok so one of my cousins doesn’t watch Survivor but I got him addicted this season and had an interesting thought on the whole winner edit stuff. He thinks that Dom, Laurel, and Chris are getting that edit.
