I don’t think Dan will be bitter. He seemed pretty lighthearted in his Ponderosa video.November 29, 2018 at 6:42 am #1202684863
LOVED this episode. Carl had it coming since he got too cocky but Alec….something worries me about that. He just gave up and then kinda tried bouncing back but too little too late. I am going to assume he just had a moment of weakness but it was the shock of shockersNovember 29, 2018 at 7:05 am #1202684883
This was the best episode so far, by far, in my opinion. I loved seeing Angelina make a big move by sacrificing her chance at immunity in order for the group to get more rice. That was so smart of her, making her look good before future members of the jury! I really disliked her early in the season, but have grown to respect her tough and bossy persona. She gets shit done in an intelligent manner, I like that.
I don’t quite see what Mike or Allison’s case would be before the jury as to why they should win a Million dollars. I think Alec could have won so getting rid of him was smart. Christian is just so damn likable that I think Gabby apparently wanting to get rid of him in the trailer for next week’s episode look like an ingenious move, but she will have a lot of explaining to do should she make it to the final tribal council. Kara I think is wanting to make more big moves, the cards just haven’t worked out for her to be able to make them without screwing up her game. Right now, I see the frontrunners as being Davey and Nick. I could see Nick winning because of his resilience in finding idols and generally good social game, but the same could be said for Davey! Dammit, this season has turned into something so awesome so fast! I wasn’t really feeling it until the jury phase, but now the ball’s rolling and major threats like John, Dan, and Alec are getting eliminated. Shit has finally gotten real in the most unpredictable and engaging way Survivor can be at its best.
Also, I really am rooting for the show to make an Emmy comeback this year. The cinematography / lighting in this episode was quite gorgeous, especially the scenes at night. The music was very impactful and well done and the editing as usual this season was suspenseful and created in this specific episode 2 very exciting tribal councils, let alone how coherently cut together all those challenges were.November 30, 2018 at 8:44 am #1202685956
These Episodes were great , I always love this portion of the game the most it when people either earn the win or lose .
Alec was playing an ok game but by being super cocky and arrogant wasn’t helpful, he should have spent his time selling Mike or Allison as being the bigger target and deflecting instead of sitting on the damn thing for 6 hours.
Carl really just shot himself in the foot. he had the makings of a top four finish has he played his cards right , but instead he was way too stupid and deserved to go home.
Going forward this is the order in which I think they would have the best chance winning
Kara – She has done nothing. She seems like she wants to play but doesn’t seem to have any social awareness or abilities that ive seen so far that make think she will have the abilities to make it to the end and even if she does I don’t see her winning unless it’s a bitter jury situation.
Allison- so I think she can probally go far if the five alliance of her Chirstian , Gabby , mike and Kara stick together , but I don’t think they will and I think she will be voted out sooner rather than later. If she makes the jury I can’t see them rewarding her at this point in the game. She reminds me of Sheri from Caramoan
Davie – While I like him and I think he fun , I don’t feel like he has played a lot of the game and he has to recover from being carls wingman which could prove difficult . come finale would he be able to out talk Gabby , Angelina, Mike or Christian ?
Angelina – She is so hot and cold , a case could be made for her going home next or for taking her to the end , she is cold and ruthless . I don’t find her likeable and I think that could help her make the finale , but im unsure she could steal votes away from anyone at this point … Im more and more convinced she makes the top four but gets nothing
Mike- Now he is difficult , I think he is playing a decent game , I would prefer him to be more vocal about his support but I do think that he is hiding , he knows his intelligence is a threat and he is hiding from everyone behind Christian , if mike can keep Christian and Gabby long enough and then get Alison and Angelina to vote them out he could win the game .. But im fearful he may just end up in the top five
Christian – While I appreciate his idol hunting skills he really hasn’t done much gameplay , he seems very likable and has a good story so I think he is a threat come the finale no for his gameplay but for his personality .. he is Natalie , he wins because they hate the other people , not because he played well
Gabby- She is the playing .. like yeah she is emotional and she may be too much , but she is very smart and she is playing to win . The only person I see her losing to is her alliance member Chrstian . Now I think she has a difficult road ahead of her , Angelina is gonna be coming for her hard , but I think gabby could make it .
Christian – At this point he is the most likeable and the biggest threat to win the game, people will vote for him in the end because he played the best and even though her voted everyone out they still like him , like I could totes imagine the whole brochacho clan giving him the million after he slaughtered them . I really don’t see him losing if he makes it to the top three…

I agree, these were great episodes! The sadness of my beloved Alec getting the boot was balanced by the thrill of Carl getting voted out. I’ve been irritated with him consistently since he was fighting with Elizabeth about her making too much of a ruckus trying to make shelter improvements. The way this game moves around is so interesting. At this point, I am just loving Gabby and Angelina. They have very different approaches to the game, but neither of them is taking any cray right now. Angelina seems to always be far enough behind to look kind of silly but still make it through. This even felt like the case in the rice negotiation, where she started by offering Jeff like everything they have at camp, but in the end just had to give up her shot at immunity. I also love that apparently now Alison is the biggest physical threat. They got out Jon, Dan and Alec all in a row, and then she was supposed to be next. I’m not sure I’ve seen really anything to support that notion, but it’s great that they aren’t just assuming whatever least unfit man is left is the big physical threat.
It’s tough for me to say who has a good shot at winning right now. I’m usually pretty surprised at the consensus opinions at the end of the season. Nick was smart early and made a bunch of alliances that have helped not only him but also his other alliances — Christian’s only still in the game because Alec told Nick that the Goliaths were going to vote him out (which makes it surprising to me that the Davids didn’t feel more of a bond with Alec, who had been working with and voting with them since he helped them vote out Natalia right after the tribe swap). Angelina‘s strategy seems to be to make the jury like her, which is an odd strategy for someone who almost no one seems to like. It’s admirable that she’s survived several attempts to get rid of her, though. Mike is doing things, but he doesn’t seem to be thinking long-term or implementing a long-term strategy. He, Alec and Alison could have had their cake and eaten it too if he hadn’t insisted it was time for Christian to go a few weeks ago and turned on that alliance of six. Alison is mostly here to say she wants to make big moves and not do it. She seemed to feel like voting for Carl was a move, but considering it was her only option for a vote, it really wasn’t. Kara is mostly here to attempt to get things done and not really do it either. Sure, she said she was going to turn against Dan and needed to vote him out, but in the end, the Davids totally took control of that situation and she’d voted for Angelina. Davey seems to have been a person in charge for a while now, but without the stigma of being bossy that was attached to Carl. Davey, Carl and Nick pooled their advantages to give the Davids the upper hand, and no one seems to dislike him. Christian seems like the biggest threat to keep around because he’s a talker (even if he confuses everyone) and people love him. I’m sure those brochachos on the jury respect that he was able to help take them out, since they were trying to take him out in the first place. I think after this tribal will be the first time he really has to answer for any betrayal. Then there’s Gabby, who I think is playing well across the board in terms of building relationships, strategizing, and competing in challenges, but I’m not sure she stands out enough rather than seemingly like someone Christian is dragging along. If she can get rid of him next week, it’ll go a long way for her.December 1, 2018 at 6:04 am #1202686610
Honestly, I feel like Nick, Christian, and Gabby would all be worthy winners and the eventual winner will come from that group.December 6, 2018 at 6:09 am #1202690999
Well…….that had me rolling. I feel like Christian should be safe next week but at the same time, I really love that they are targeted him so quickly again. Fourth time could be the charm and he can go next week lolDecember 6, 2018 at 9:02 am #1202691391
Sad that Gabby got the boot, but she really took it well. The jury now has three people who were voted out specifically because they tried to get rid of Christian, which makes him look pretty good.
I find this group of survivors really likable. Of all the people still in the game and on the jury, the only one I really didn’t care for was Carl.December 7, 2018 at 12:29 am #1202692203
No way Christian makes it to the end. Every single person thinks he’ll win if he makes it to the end. One immunity loss and he’s gone. The best player is definitely Nick. He’s a leader without putting a target on his back. You need to be out there with the right amount of under-the-radar to win this game. Don’t dominate competitions and don’t be in every decision making process, but always be in the power alliance. Davie is an idiot. He’s the kind of player you need to get rid of quickly because they’ll go rogue and ruin your game like telling Christian he’s the target.December 7, 2018 at 12:48 am #1202692216
I’ve had a hunch Christian might win since mid-season, so his getting voted out before the final episode would set up a really suspenseful and exciting finale for him, as entertaining as I find him to be.December 7, 2018 at 10:54 am #1202693320
My money is on Nick to win it allDecember 10, 2018 at 10:21 am #1202696741
Nick seems like the likeliest winner to me right now, too. I agree, even though trying to take out Christian has gotten so many people voted out, they would be fools to take him to the end. There are a bunch of players that people just don’t seem to care about right now (Kara, Mike, Angelina), and then Alison and Christian, the two people have been trying to vote out for weeks now. Christian’s number is probably up this week, possibly followed by Alison? I can’t imagine either Alison or Kara getting to the end. They just haven’t been given enough personality to seem to matter enough.December 10, 2018 at 10:37 am #1202696759
Im so bummed Gabby got the boot ,she was my fav to win … ugggg

I could see Kara getting to the finale…..but only if she wins immunity like crazy.December 11, 2018 at 8:08 am #1202697714
Immunities have been really unpredictable this season, I guess partly because of the kinds of challenges they’re doing and partly because they quickly got rid of the strongest physical players.
