I just watched this episode last night. Keith standing at the crossroads at the end literally begging God to tell him what to do was too much. I definitely want him to just choose to go home — he doesn’t seem to have anything he needs to actually excel in this game, including a super strong desire to stay in it, and going to the island would just prolong his suffering — but it seems like he’s going to go there eventually.

It was kind of painful watching that supercut of Aubry doing saying the same BS to several people, even though I imagine that happened over the course of several days and probably wasn’t as cringe-worthy as it appeared. Neither Aubry nor Wentworth is looking great for sticking around long term, but I’m hoping they can turn it around, at least for a little while.

Aw, I found this elimination pretty upsetting, both because of how I usually just really get on board with the hottest guy every season and because it seemed like an egregiously jerky move on the tribe’s part. I was yelling at the TV a little during Tribal because they were saying that trying to keep the tribe strong didn’t work — which is absolute BS. They eliminated Reem because they didn’t like her, and then lost the next challenge. They eliminated Keith because he was bad in challenges, and then WON the next challenge, and really Chris won the challenge for them. But whatever. I don’t know how things will turn out with the Edge of Extinction Island, but it’s GREAT as a viewer knowing that no matter who gets eliminated, they’re still not totally out of the game. This episode is a great example of why you can’t be out here trying to be a nice person and thinking you can still win this game. People will just stab you in the back or right in the face.

Also, Wentworth’s face in the final third of the episode was too much. I can’t even count the number of times she looked like she was just going to murder someone.

Wardog man i was starting like his overbearing gameplay but he just got arrogant and voted out their biggest challenge asset.

And all of david’s gameplay is just to get wentworth out.

what a snooze and horrible choices being made all around … David is shotting himself in the foot by being so anti Wentworth and their both stupid if they dont realsie they have to work together … thats the only way they both survive… The should have voted wendy out , she was hurt and she is a huge disruption .. they cannot win things with strong people how the hell did they think the could wihtout them … very dumb

Oh man, I almost forgot about Wendy and the whole thing with the chickens. It does seem pretty ridiculous to be a meat-eater but then feel so opposed to people eating the chickens. I could see not wanting to see the chicken be killed or even not wanting to eat it herself, but this seems just too far. Maybe her plan is to seem so annoying that no one thinks she’s a social threat and people take her to the end, like Angelina last season.

It does seem weird that David is so eager to get rid of Wentworth instead of trying to work with her. I guess ultimately he just doesn’t trust her, but it also seems like he thinks that if she’s gone, the others will forget that he’s also a returning player. Odd.

Wendy became very annoying very fast. I really don’t know if she’s doing it on purpose to get ahead in the game, but it’s freaking annoying.

This elimination really sucked. The guy was their strongest player in every game. I wish they remained together in the next episode too, just to see them regret it.

I hope Wendy and David are the next two to go. Nothing against them personally but they are dead weight at this point. At least Wardog is slightly useful but I need him gone too.

I’m not a fan of how frequently they mix up the tribes, especially when they do it right after one team voted off their strongest player. They should have to live with that for a few more challenges.

I agree and disagree all at once. In one way, the annoying ones end up gone quicker. On the other hand, one tribe can get decimated.

Yeah, what utter BS from the Lesu tribe. These guys are sad because they love each other so much that you can’t stand to vote someone out. (David and Rick were ready to vote out Kelley THREE DAYS AGO.) They’re sad because there weren’t any easy options, and because I guess they thought somewhere deep inside that if they just got rid of the people who were easy targets, they’d suddenly be decent at challenges? It was pretty satisfying, though, watching them lose the challenge after they all voted out Chris. It was kind of hilarious when Ron said he was surprised that they voted out the person who was carrying the team in challenges, and Lauren countered with basically, “They don’t know what camp life was like.” Haha, okay. That said, I’m glad they didn’t vote Lauren out, at least not on the basis of her being the weakest because she’s not eating. It still looked like Lauren outperformed all of the rest of them, at least physically, in the immunity challenge, so that would have been pretty bunk. Considering that this is the second time that Kelley and David have lost a challenge at the puzzle stage, maybe they should re-think who they deploy for this sort of thing.

Wendy being more concerned about releasing those chickens than not pissing off her tribe is pretty astonishing. But the new Manu tribe seems to be handling it pretty well. The funniest line of the episode was when one of the women said, “If Big Wendy released the chickens, I’m gonna eat Big Wendy.”

Also funny was Reem and Keith going on about how they were annoyed with Chris and not going to be nice to him, only for him to catch a couple of fish and them to suddenly be perfectly willing to get along.

Not sure what kind of outcome David expected from the tribal. Wendy was in a great place at the start of the episode, being the outsider but still pretty safe in a strong team. But she had to keep doing her crazy chicken drama.
