Calling it now…..that challenge at the site of the merge is for a return from voted out island. I feel like its between whoever returns, Adam, or Ben next week. I saw some weird odds for Tyson and Rob in the prediction center so I went with one of them being voted out……big risk means big reward lol. Plus, odds r I am not going to get individual immunity right for the rest of the season so this should be fun. I went with Kim this week because she had great odds.

I bet you’re right about the challenge being to come back from the Edge. I wonder if they’ll do what they did before, and basically give whoever comes back an idol or something so they don’t get voted out immediately? It’ll be fun to see how the fire tokens come into play as well. Natalie and Rob both have a bunch, and even though Natalie has been on that island the longest, she still seems like she could whoop the others in a physical challenge. Rob really impressed me, though, finding three fire tokens without anyone else even realizing it. Tyson calling Rob portly was funny, even funnier since Rob actually found all those tokens.

I’m excited to see what happens post-merge. Will the Yara group and the Dakal group fight over the scraps from Sele?

I respect Sandra for just leaving Edge of Extinction. I can totally see her feeling like she had no chance of getting back in the game and just being totally done with it, especially considering the way she got voted out. If felt like it was time to retire, rather than clinging to that island until the end and then maybe being on a jury.

Ithink she should have stuck around just to be on the jury tbh

This season is insane, super sad to see all the old schoolers go out .. i think Yul should have worked with the girls last week and alinged with Parv since parv plays like her , he should have not trusted those boys.

i think going into the merge the girls all become way safer and Ben , Wendell , Adam , Tony and jeremey all become bigger threats .

I am betting rob or nat come back based on the editing

I agreed with everything here. It’s great Sandra chose to leave. She was never getting back in the game if it means going around an island looking for rocks. She won’t go for a physical challenge. There’s no “Sandra bench” here so yeah, it would’ve been a waste on time, and it’s not gonna be worth it at all to be on that shitty extinction island.

As for Yul, anybody who shows they run or wanna run the game or a tribe so much has to go. I wouldn’t have been able to stand that either. And Rob just got voted off (in part) for doing just that.

I agree that the merge will become boys vs girls since all the boys left have done shitty things this season and everybody has their eye on them anyway. Good to know there are a lot of tough ladies there and it won’t be some guy winning immunity challenges every week.

The merge is always fun. I will miss people like Parvati or Tyson there.

Yeah Sandra knew the only chance she had was to not get voted off. She knows that even if she miraculously gets back in the game they are not going to give her  the win. So that was smart and the right decision.

I feel like for some of the older players their huge reputation is killing their chances of people working with them. Like Parvati,Yul and Rob. The Newer players are actually more dangerous then them but they do not have a legacy status yet.

Sophie and Denise have the highest chances to win right now. Sarah is on a lower tier then them.

Sandra being voted out hurt the most, but she made a smart decision of leaving. My bet is on Rob returning from Edge of Extinction.

I’m also predicting Adam to go far in the game, simply because he wouldn’t be a threat in the final 3.

I could see Adam potentially going far because he doesn’t seem like a threat at the end, but he could also be an easy vote in one of the first few post-merge tribal councils. He’s also a good second option if someone plays an idol or something and a plan to get out an actual threat goes awry.

It would be great if all the women just decided to get rid of the men, or at least some of them. Adam, Ben and Wendell have probably played the worst games of anyone left, but this is when having played the worst game starts to become an advantage.

I feel like Wendell has lost his mind tbh. Like he forgot how to play

based on editing i think that the top five could be

    Sophie
    Sarah
    Michele
    Tyson

Maybe Tony / kim / denise

and maybe Rob … he is getting the most airtime

Yeah i was not expecting Tyson to pull it off and that was real close. But since he did i guess he is making it far. Natalie is done i guess? Rob is def coming back. They feature him too much not to. Sophie, Sarah are good. If Denise can survive the next tribal she might make it far.

Yeah, I think between Denise taking out Sandra as she did and then destroying the other women at the immunity challenge, she may have a hard time over the next few tribals, but she gets under the radar pretty easily. This is also getting close to the point where a bunch of the women get voted off in a row, which worries me in terms of predictions because the women seem to be doing much better overall. I’m not convinced Rob is coming back into the competition. This is a person who spent last season as a “mentor” because the show thinks (maybe correctly) that the audience loves him, which I think is also why he’s getting a lot of screentime. Though I’m sure the show would love for him to get back in, so he’s got that going for him. I was surprised Tyson got in, though.

It also surprised me that nothing about an idol popped up at the merge feast. There also has not been much mention of people’s advantages, and maybe it’s naive of me to put too much stock in these, but I think Sophie, Kim, Sarah and Jeremy are relatively safe because of their idols/advantages.
