So did anyone else watch? It’s really good!

For anyone who doesn’t know it’s like a bigger and more complicated AGT with James Corden as host. The Judges are RuPaul, Drew Barrymore, and Faith Hill. They all get to score the act out of 50 points. That’s where the WALL OF THE WORLD comes in. It has 50 experts from all around the world that do the same. So if the act gets a score of 75 in this round, they move on and the Wall can save people if the three American judges aren’t exactly feeling the act. Hawk from SYTYCD and Rikishi from WWE are two of the Wall judges too so that’s cool.
Last night’s contestants were amazing…..for the most part.
Kukkiwon: They are martial art acrobats that blew the roof off the place. Over scored…..possibly but they were the first act.
TNT Boys: You probably have seen these kids on Youtube. Saying that, they are incredible and if this were AGT….viewers would vote for these kids easily.
Space Cowboy: I loved this act. Drew Barrymore wasn’t feeling it. RuPaul seemed to enjoy it though. He didn’t go through.
Enkh Erdene: He doesn’t speak a word of English. Then he sang and sounds amazing singing country music in a perfect old school everyone loves it type of country voice in English but has no idea what he is singing about. Take that in for a second. I think he was over scored but WOW.
Manami Ito: This is the act that had me bawling. She was incredible and I admit accurately scored. Saying that, I loved it.
The last act was Matt Johnson and we won’t know his score until Wednesday or see the end of his act until then. That annoyed me since I was captivated. From what they showed so far, I hope he goes through.

Clarification: Hill, Barrymore, and RuPaul each score the act from 0 to 50; the average, rounded to the nearest integer (so, e.g., 50, 48, 45 averages to 47 2/3, which is rounded to 48); each member of “The Wall of the World” gets a yes or no vote, with each yes being worth 1 and each no being worth zero. Space Cowboy got only 25 “yes” votes, so he would have needed all three judges to score 50 in order for him to advance.

It’s a good show, but the obvious comparisons to both AGT and World of Dance (where viewers have no say in the matter, and remember how well that worked out in the first season) are going to be made, especially with the former in terms of who is competing. Still, you can never have enough good talent on TV.

Also, it took me a bit to realize who you meant by “Hawk from SYTYCD”; I think it was spelled “Hok” when he was on that show.

I feel like the judging part throws me off so I am going to make that it’s own post just in case I forget lol

Indeed it was. It was changed to Hawk for some reason for Quest Crew on America’s Best Dance Crew but I still see it as Hok on stuff too so it’e like he is going with both

Ok quick recap of last night’s show:
Matt Johnson: They finished showing his audition and he got through….by the skin of his teeth. I personally loved this act.
Naturally 7: They killed it and for an Acapella Group they are VERY unique. Sailed through to the next round.
Dundu: This puppet act freaks me out. Sailed through.
Iya Traore: I really liked this act. he didn’t go through but it was a blast to watch.
Sister Cristina Scuccia: I loved this act. She just is a blast to watch. Advanced but barely.
Justin Flom: This magician was good…..not great. Sailed through though.
Duo Suining: I love acts like this and they were underscored I think.
    Lydian Nadhaswaram: Overscored.
Krystyna & Princess: I liked them….but agree they should have been eliminated.
    Jordan McKnight: Loved this one.
Kai & Alexandra: I missed this act because I was walking the dog.
Dimash Kudaibergen: I am in awe. Saying that…..was that score a bit too high…YES.
    Jade Kindar-Martin: Loved this act.

    Duo Nigretai: LOVED it
    Liliac Band: Eh
Emotional Line: I kinda liked that.
William Close: Hated him on AGT and hate him now.
