I liked him as a personality on his season with his memorable mustache action going on, and it’s sad that he was the first to go home. I thought Lee Anne was a goner with her rookie mistake of overcooking her halibut on the grill with all that oil. The cast of all-stars is rich and dynamic. This promises to be an intense season, and I’m all here for it! Congrats, Gregory! Establish yourself as the frontrunner to beat in the first episode! It looks like the finale will be in Europe this season. Very exciting! It’ll be nice to see Italy in all its culinary richness before COVID-19 touched down on it and left so much death behind. So terrible.

I don’t know who the guy with Joe and Leeanne is. Something with an M. If you were to tell me he’s the only new contestant on the show, I would believe you.
Happy to have the show back.

Mess that half of my predicted top 4 were on the losing team this week and one went home lol. It’s still early though! At least Gregory and Brian are the ones to beat right now.

Synopsis: The remaining chefs honor the late, great Pulitzer-Prize winning food critic Jonathan Gold; using Gold’s last guide list, the chefs fan out all over Los Angeles to sample the unique food trucks, mom-and-pop cafés, and ethnic cuisine; another contestant is eliminated from the competition.

ReplyCopy URLMarch 27, 2020 at 9:04 am #1203396977I had to look up who Jonathan Gold was. Angelo’s dish looked a hot mess, and Jennifer did warn him that something was off with his broth. Very pleased for Kevin. Poor guy’s health troubles seemed horrendous, so I’m glad he’s recovered and thriving in the competition. It’s ridiculous the level of talent competing in “All-Stars” this season!
ReplyCopy URLMarch 27, 2020 at 8:44 pm #1203397762I think I’m gonna follow “Last Chance Kitchen” again this season. It’s not like I have anything better to do with my time right now lmao. Just b/c he’s one of my favs and I want to see him redeem himself, yay Joe Sasto!

Synopsis: Comedic superstars Ali Wong and Randall Park swing by the Top Chef kitchen for a Quickfire challenge tasking the remaining chefs to make the wackiest fried rice they can; in the elimination challenge, the chefs head to the famed Getty Museum to seek inspiration from the art there; another contestant is eliminated from the competition.

ReplyCopy URLApril 3, 2020 at 7:19 am #1203407803They all had really good looking dishes. That was a tough call for elimination though. Stephanie and Jamie seemed like a close call couldhave been either.
ReplyCopy URLApril 3, 2020 at 7:32 am #1203407837Awww, that’s a sad exit. I liked Jamie. Bet he wished he had immunity this time around lmao. Best of luck in “Last Chance Kitchen”!
