Yes! I wish I was home right now to watch 🙁 stupid NYC traffic today.March 3, 2019 at 4:18 pm #1202802656
Now on its regular Sunday night slot.
Continuing with the Qualifiers.March 17, 2019 at 4:03 pm #1202819750
ok so I’ve watched most of the dance on youtube and have a few thoughts
1) JLo and Ne-Yo are absolutely not qualified to be dance judges
2) The bias towards hip hop is ridiculous
3) Kayla Mak is my favourite so far. JLo’s score should be discarded. There’s no way she actually thinks this is an 87, she probably wants to make the road easier for another hip hop/latin crew.

Am I the only one who still watches this? lmao anyways thoughts on last night:
Tobias and the EZTwins vs D’Angelo Brothers: Tobias were the better dancers but that decision to add tap to their routine was so arrogant that I’m glad they lost.
Jonathan y Jorge vs Denise and Josh: Jonthan y Jorge are not good at all. IDK why they won, although I’m not a fan of Denise and Josh either. Not a good duel.
Poppin John vs DDFlection: I might be biased because popping is an awfully boring type of dance imo, but DDFlection were so good and were completely robbed…
Derek Piquette vs Derion and Madison: During his comments, Ne-Yo asked what he was here for… I’m wondering the same thing. He has no knowledge of dance and it shows. That comparison to Michael was completely unnecessary. This was a good duel. D&M had the most complex, original routine so I’m okay with this result.
Briar Nolet vs All Ready: All Ready were good but there’s no way a good judge would give them a higher grade than Briar. Ne-Yo’s score is blatant fraud and should get him fired.
Redemption: This is what happens when you mess with Briar, Ne-Yo…. She blew the other group out of the water and rightfully won her spot in The Cut. However, thinking this was better than her other routine is absurd.

The Crazy 8’s are my favs easilyMarch 29, 2019 at 6:42 am #1202833327
Anybody saw the preview from this week? I swear to god if Kayla Mak looses to that awful hip hop group (and I feel like she will), I’m rioting.

Funkanometry were downright bad. They won because they dropped ballet shoes at the end of their routine. They’re not even a quarter of the dancer Kayla is. I am disgusted with the judges.

Anyone has predictions on who goes through the cut?
– All Ready
– Briar Nolet
– Jonathan y Jorge
– The Kings
– Unity LA
– The Heima
– Lauren Yakima
– Julian and Charlize
– Ellie and Ava
– The Crazy 8s
– Dancetown Diva
The teams in italic are my predicted finalists. I don’t think anyone can beat the Kings.

my top 3 favs.
The Crazy 8s
Ellie and AvaApril 14, 2019 at 5:42 pm #1202852935
What? Ne-Yo underscored Briar? shocking.
Anyways, she went through and got the 97 she deserved ever since she first stepped on that stage.

I like the Kings but in no way were they the best there.May 7, 2019 at 9:19 am #1202883949
I never got the hype surrounding the Kings… They are the best of the three winners tho but none of the winners are deserving so that doesn’t mean much (Les Twins above Eva Igo is a scandal).
