Considering how much the genre change affected OitNB and the deepth of the third season, the show will probably go back to comedy. And this time, I hope the blue ribbon panel won’t make any stupid decisions, letting them return to their original category.

There’s only one thing I dare to predict this soon: The Wachowskis for Best Direction – Drama.

I’ll throw in a couple of the “who cares awards” categories:

Reality Host – if Fox announces 2015 was So You Think You Can Dance‘s last season, Cat Deeley gets it; otherwise, Jane Lynch completes the hat trick.  Seriously, outside of Lynch, what host is as actively involved in his/her show besides, say, Guy Fieri for Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (which actually got some E! Red Carpet love – and remember, host is open to all reality shows, not just reality-competition)?

Character Voiceover – I have a gut feeling it’s going to turn into a consolation prize for Kristen Schaal (as Louise on Bob’s Burgers) when she’s not nominated for Comedy Supporting Actress for The Last Man on Earth – that is, unless the Academy adds a rule saying that the final vote is not open to actors who don’t have “significant voiceover experience.”

I believe it has a greater chance of being shut out than it has for winning. I still think that Burrell and Bowen will return. Series nod is still likely, but a snub is not entirely out of the question.

In Comedy Series Lead Actress, do they dare enter Miss Piggy?  The rules do allow her to be entered “as herself” (and even if she is voiced and moved by a man, she enters as an Actress); the only problem I can think of is, if she ends up getting nominated, they may have to make her voice actor and performer(s) public, and I am not sure how big of a secret that is supposed to be.  (I am fairly sure that on the telecast itself, they would be no mention of them, and if she won, she would “accept on her own behalf.”)
