I finally worked up the nerve to take The Commuter out of TV Movie and replace it with Cocaine Godmother yet am still not confident enough to take out Sarah Gadon and replace her with Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Note to myself: Don’t ever feed the trolls. Don’t get involved in others drama. Don’t let myself be swayed by others predictions, trust my gut more often!

Note to all others: If you don’t happen to like me, ignore me. It is that simple.

I think Zeta-Jones has more chances to get nominated than her own film in movie.

Supporting Actor is a mess. I have 4 guys with 100/1 odds, and honestly I’m surprised there so low. The only frontrunners I have are Jeff Daniels and Edgar Ramirez. They’re easy nominations. Then we have four open spots.

I have Cody Fern, who seems so obvious. He had one of the larger supporting roles and quickly became a fan favorite performance. He was a big breakout and I could even compare him to Sterling K Brown on OJ.

I have Jimmi Simpson, who seems obvious as well. Black Mirror will do well, he was just nominated for a BAFTA, and is having a career high.

Next is Bill Pullman. His show had a ton of viewers and the lead was at one point the frontrunner in her category. He is well respected and his category is empty. He also has a critics choice nomination.

Lastly I have Scoot McNairy, who I also feel confident about. He was very good in Godless, and some such as myself would argue that he is overdue for industry recognition. I’m predicting Godless to be one of the big players in the limited race, so it’s only logical for one of the MVP’s to get nominated as well.

I am gonna cry so hard when Gadon is snubbed. You give the best performance in TV movie/miniseries of the year and still get snubbed because you have no name recognition and Netflix didn’t care for you to have a proper campaign.

I have the same nominations, but I still predicting Shannon (in Fern place, I need to watch ACS yet).

I’m seeing a lot of FYC ads for The Looming Tower. It came and went with no fanfare, but it seems like Hulu is still mounting a significant campaign for it. I think it will get in several categories despite no one caring for it. It seems like the kind of prestigious Homeland-esque type show that voters will probably just name-check without watching it, because they don’t know what else to vote for, and they’ll assume it was good.

Is Criss really the frontrunner over Pacino?

Paterno was a mess, but Pacino is Pacino.

Pacino’s name recognition is probably the only reason why he’s in this race. If this was someone that wasn’t nearly as famous as Pacino, Criss would win this race in a cakewalk.

Deniro was Deniro last year, and the young star in a better-received series beat out the legend in a mediocre biopic
