It’s just occurred to me how many possible acting nominees NBC could have.

    Comedy Actress: Debra Messing
    Comedy Actor: Eric McCormick
    Comedy Supporting Actor: Sean Hayes
Comedy Supporting Actress: Megan Mullally, Kate McKinnon, Andrea Martin, Cecile Strong, Leslie Jones
    Drama Actor: Sterling K. Brown
    Drama Actress: Christina Hendricks
    Drama Supporting Actress: Chrissy Metz,Reta

12/40 I’ll be it some of them are shakey is really amazing considering where NBC was three years ago

I’m so torn. I don’t want Claire Foy to go Emmyless for The Crown, but I also don’t want Robin Wright to go Emmyless for HoC.

If I’m not mistaken the last season of HoC is gonna premiere during Summer thus missing eligibility period.

It is just 8 episodes though. They could finish it and release it like last year on the last day of the eligibility period.

Apparently FX’s Trust might be a drama series.

Is Here and Now competing as Drama? I thought it would be limited series.

The Danny Thomas Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television, Comedy:

    “Curb Your Enthusiasm” (Season 9)
“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” (Season 1)
    “Master of None” (Season 2)
    “Silicon Valley” (Season 4)
    “Veep” (Season 6)

black-ish didn’t hit PGA. SAG nominates old shows all of the time, Ross fell out from the Globes, WGA isn’t touching black-ish, and there is new competition.

Deadline called for it a drama.

Sharon Stone – Mosaic vs. Catherine Zeta-Jones – Cocaine Godmother

    &

Penelope Cruz – American Crime Story vs. Laura Dern – Twin Peaks vs. Nicole Kidman – Top of the Lake: China Girl

    #1202462337

Penelope Cruz is in a single scene between the second and seventh episodes of the upcoming season of American Crime Story.  Had it aired last season, Cruz might have been snubbed like Catherine Zeta-Jones in Feud.  (If that really is her biggest competition this year though, maybe she wins anyway.)

Angela Lansbury will also be trying to finally win an Emmy for Little Women, which will air on PBS in the spring. I hear her role is small but good, but she will be in Supporting.

I’m excited for Comedy Supporting Actress.

    Megan Mullally
    Laurie Metcalf
    Leslie Jones
    Kate McKinnon
    Sara Gilbert
    Judith Light
    Anna Chlumsky
    Jenifer Lewis

And any other contenders that will likely arise. Also, Comedy Lead Actress is looking fun with the return of Roseanne and Debra Messing, plus the buzz Janney will have with her Oscar nomination, and possible win.
