Let us not forget that Succession would have really struggled with The Crown in the mix as it would win Drama Series as well.

We all knew the drama categories were trash ever since nominations came out though. The Comedy and Limited categories had arguably the strongest wins they’ve had in years, and that’s worth celebrating

The wins by Jharrel Jerome and Billy Porter made my night.

Ahh man “Game Of Thrones”. What a legendary show. We shall never see it’s like again!

Well, I hated so much about this year’s ceremony. Some good stuff, but I am bitter about certain things – VERY bitter.

    I got drunk for nothing.

Fleabag alone makes this Emmys worth it

The way “Succession” will SWEEP next year. Don’t say I didn’t tell you…

    I second this

I would’ve easily traded this win for Directing (Sapochnik) or Actress/Supporting Actress.

Also really random note but TIL that Ramin Djawadi wasn’t even nominated in Outstanding Musical Composition for the Winds of Winter. How?

I think Winds of Winter wasn’t submitted that year for Composition if I remember correctly.

Same here. Comedy deserved the  fragmented winners Drama had.

At least this will be the last time I’ll ever have to see “Game of Thrones” win undeserved Drama Series Emmys. Soooo glad D&D lost writing and directing.

Next year: “The Crown,” “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Ozark,” “Pose,” “Succession,” and “This Is Us” … things are gonna get ugly, people.

I TOLD YOU SO. Just a SAD repeat of last year… And I told you when all of you laughed at me that at the end, the last one laughs better…

HBO has a huge tech portion voting like crazy for them, this is why Barry did that well, but then is able to win only for Hader. This is why the trash Sharp Objects stole the place of A Very English Scandal. And this is why GoT won for a second year without any passion behind it. Pathetic. But just like last year, all the winners except the two from GoT were MARVELOUS. Large life to the new system and to the brave Academy that put the performance FIRST.

As soon as Carice lost for that performance, you should’ve known GOT was not winning an acting category outside of Dinklage.

    For Your Consideration:

Best International Feature: Instinct (The Netherlands)
Best Actress: Carice van Houten (Instinct)

    Fleabag – 6
