I don’t understand how Comer is suddenly a huge threat to Colman just because she didn’t vote split with Oh. If anything, Aniston or Paulson are probably more likely to take the Globe over Colman than Comer

And like always GD posters overreacting. You guys are so transparent and predictable. Jodie won today. It’s September. The Crown is premiering in November. Jodie’s win will be forgotten by then by different awards bodies and everyone is gonna kiss Olivia’s ass. That GG has already engraved Olivia’s name on it. And so has SAG award (they owe her for last year). But I’m sure HFPA is mad right niw they didn’t award when they could. They could have been first and brag about it. Now there’s no point for them to do it but they will nominate her and some fo you are gonna predict her cause she won Emmy. It’s always the same story.

    You get real!

Hoping Atlanta wins big at the Emmys next year.

Isn’t Atlanta skipping next year’s Emmys too?

I don’t think Paulson is eligible, and Aniston is not winning drama awards for that show lmao. Good one!

Can we all agree that the announcer stole the show? I’m rewatching now. He made me lol more than a few times.

Comer literally overcame too many disadvantages over her. She had to vote split, and not just vote split with a non-factor. It’s Oh!, who is an Emmy veteran and overdue, and most likely the runner-up. Of course she should be considered!

None of you, with due respect, can deny Fleabag took away nominations from all of the Good Place actresses, save Maya Rudolph. Kristen Bell, Jameela Jamil, D’Arcy Carden, even Kirby Howell Baptiste got jobbed in the rush to genuflect at the altar of PWB. Now that Fleabag is out of the picture in 2020, maybe they’ll get the recognition they deserve.

But the damage is already done. Emmys have their worst comedy series winner ever.

Not only that, but she was basically not known and the least popular in the US from that category.

HFPA is not giving Colman a 3rd trophy lol, they will definitely go with Colman, then SAG won’t resist. Remember Elizabeth Moss and Clair Foy lol.

The buzz for Fleabag was too deafening to ignore

Well, bees have buzz, too, and those who appreciate quality TV comedy got stung tonight.

None of them, besides MAYBE Carden would have gotten in if Fleabag didn’t exist. You’d have to get rid of a lot more shows before Bell, Jamil or Baptiste got nominated. Was Baptiste even submitted?
