Btw Crowe was brilliant in The Loudest Voice (as was the show itself). He should be sweeping but unfortuantely won’t.

Ik. That’s why I could see him winning the Globe so they get to brag that they recognized him first, but on the other hand WTSU is not winning the miniseries Globe, and I’m sure they will not want to let it go home empty-handed, as they’ll be called racists on the top of it (not that anyone cares for the Globes anymore but just saying). And they’re so lazy with their miniseries winners these past few years..

Just realised that Sandra Oh, Rachel Brosnahan and Patricia Arquette swept the winter awards and then all of them lost at the Emmys.

I wouldn’t call CC + GG wins a sweep necessarily.

True, but one thing to note is that it is more difficult for a supporting role to win at SAG in this category since lead and supporting are combined into one category. I don’t think she was expected to beat Arquette. But regardless, I wouldn’t call it a sweep.

She wasn’t gonna win SAG in a million years, but still it’s not a sweep.

I guess last year posting the full videos were an anomally. FOX channel only posted backstage and Comedy & Drama Series on YouTube.
However they’re all available on the Emmys website, including the full shows for the Creative Arts ceremonies

FYC: Jonathan Pryce for The Two Popes

Now that I think about it I remember lots of actors saying how much they love Harris, how overdue he is, etc. It definitely wasn’t a landslide but still. As for audiences reaction that night, I’m not gonna comment on that because as my current username states these days I’m like MCU movies. Btw Crowe was brilliant in The Loudest Voice (as was the show itself). He should be sweeping but unfortuantely won’t.

That’s what maybe made me think Harris would win SAG as he’s seen as the overdue, character actor veteran type that lots of people have worked with. But maybe others are right that Jerome has SAG on lockdown too. Crowe deserves an award for The Loudest Voice but I don’t think he will get one. It will be a combination of Crowe personally being viewed as a difficult person (dubious whether that it actually true) and people not wanting to vote for the person who played Roger Ailes.

Well someone who played Donald Trump won an Emmy.
