I don’t think Rudolph is ahead of Applegate.

You might be right but I am stuck on this idea that Forever will surprise us somehow in the nominations morning.

I do, however, have three Amazon contenders so that’s alarming I guess.

I’m not stuck on episode numbers, we are at a new age of television and it has six whole episodes that preceded this season’s six episodes. Fleabag tells a great and satisfying story in 6 episodes that many network shows fail to do in 22 episodes.

Veep only has 7 episodes, should it move to Limited Series as well?

You don’t want me answering that, do ya? 😉

It would open up comedy series and make it a lot less anticlimactic than it’s going to be. And with The Good Place bidding goodbye next year, will 2021 be the official end of broadcast networks getting ANY major nominations, anywhere? It’s a distinct possibility.

black-ish still continues, and Anthony Anderson will keep getting nominated, ditto for Mom and Allison Janney.

Blackish is on its last legs and will soon join Modern Family in the emmys’ rear view mirror. Janney…maybe there won’t be rubberstamp voting by 2021.

The number for today is 198,000.

That is the average number of viewers Schitt’s Creek drew in its latest season. I’m just saying, any lurking Emmy voters; do you really want to give any nomination to a show that draws the equivalent population of Akron, Ohio?

    No. Just, no.

Oh my god. Just stop. It’s not going to happen anyways because the TCA has no correlation with the Emmys. And the amount of viewers has nothing to do with a show’s quality, because if it did, then TGP’s drop in viewership and season ranking would mean that it dropped in quality, while SC had over a 900% increase in both.

I’m sad Alison Brie’s stuck in such a stacked category. I still can’t believe she didn’t happen last year.

And for what it is worth, I already have The Good Place ahead of it.

The tautness of Fleabag makes you realise how much filler other shows (in general not just comedies) make you sit through.

PWB writes with precision and purpose and delivers more complete character arcs than other shows can only dream to achieve even with multiple seasons.

The show deserves to win the big prize.

I’m currently predicting PWB to get 4 Noms. That means, that she is likely to win something. Right now I think Writing is the easiest bet. However, I can see her winning best actress as JLD and RB will vote split a lot. KE also has a chance at winning Drama Series but that will depend on how many noms it gets. If Fleabag gets into series it’s probably in the top 5 but I doubt it can win

The way Glenn Close and Lady Gaga split the votes and Olivia Colman won Best Actress?

Lol am I the only one having dead to me ads on this site now? Also it seems like they are pushing Linda Cardellini and not Christina Applegate.
