Barry is a drama with comedic elements.

That wasn’t a response to why Bill Hader wasn’t included. Also, Jim Parsons is not funny in that role anymore so why would he be nominated?

Big fan of Better Call Saul, Sex Education, Barry, BoJack Horseman, and, especially, Survivor

He was outstanding in the finale (the most watched episode of fictional television this year) and received pretty much unanimous acclaim for it.

I hope Bill Hader submits the Barry season 2 finale as his acting submission. That performance blew me away. He really surprised me with his range of acting with this show.
**btw I’m aware the post above me is about Jim Parsons.

How is he not funny anymore? He changed his way of acting? He does not try it anymore? This makes no sense and it is not what the huge audience of his show thinks. Since you always bring the phenomenon that is GoT, you must know that TBBT is for comedies what GoT is for dramas and this is mostly because of Parsons, he got some of the best reviews of his career and he will make it.

Why do so many people think The Big Bang Theory is going to make a sudden comeback this year just because it was its final season. Shows rarely do that and the comedy race is stacked this year (unlike drama). Jim Parsons is not getting back in, I’m sorry to say.

The size of the audience doesn’t mean quality and yes, he became less and less funny over the years. He was insufferable in the last seasons of the show (like the show itself).

In those cases, the quality of the Finale season is normally very weak. This was an amazing season of TBBT. Parsons acting especially in the last 2 episodes was incredible. Christine Baranski was also amazing in her episode. I’m predicting it for Lead Actor, Guest Actress, Guest Actor and Directing

Globes FYC- Fleabag, Phoebe Waller Bridge, Jodie Comer, Dame Emma Thompson, The Crown

SAG FYC- The Crown, Olivia Colman, Fleabag, PWB

Critics Choice- Schitts Creek, Fleabag, Killing Eve, Bodyguard

    BAFTA- Fleabag, Killing Eve

Oscars FYC ‘Little Women’ ‘Downton Abbey’ ‘Maggie Smith’

I never said that and I have never watched a single episode of TBBT. But here the audience of GoT is constantly mentioned, so I don’t see any different between that and TBBT. And all the people that watched TBBT ADORED Parson and I have never seen or met a single person that finds him less funny between the people that actually likes the show, since they are ones that matter here.

I have no idea about who I should put in my supporting actor category. I only saw performanes from Barry actors. And there are only a few names that I recognized.

The buzz for kidding was/is ZERO

If Niecy Nash and Laurie Metcalf managed to get in for Getting On, Golden Globe nominee Jim Carrey can get in as well.
