Has it been reported that she’s going Lead for The Act?

I just assumed from the trailers that she’d be lead, but Chris says she’s going supporting. I’ll be interested to see if it really is a supporting role or if she’s going supporting for convenience sakes.

The news pertaining to The Crown missing the deadline makes the races vastly more interesting to me. Best Drama Actress seems incredibly open for anyone to win, which is wonderful!

Same. I just couldn’t predict her in lead. And now I finally have someone to put in my #6 slot for supporting.

I absolutely see Paulson making it now, because I don’t think Mirren will be eligible.

Emmys 2019 FYC: Lena Headey ("Game of Thrones"), Cicely Tyson ("HTGAWM"), Viola Davis ("HTGAWM"), "The Haunting of Hill House" & "Escape at Dannemora" in all categories

Julia Garner is not winning, Ozark stans have to stop. With HBN not eligible, emmy voters will vote for Lena Headey without hesitation.

Ive never seen Ozark, I just don’t see Lena Headey winning.

I think the only awards Game of Thrones will Win is Drama Series and Supporting Actor. Maybe winning for Directing

Catherine the Great is on the official Academy calendar for an FYC event in May. HBO has not updated us or given a debut date, but they have also not contacted us to remove it from the predictions center. The FYC event being scheduled is a sign that it will be eligible for 2019 but it could also still be tentative while they decide.

Do they even have room in their schedule to fit Catherine the Great before the deadline?

I have to agree… if Lena hasn’t won yet… especially for her walk of shame episode, it’s hard to see her winning this year for her final season. Then again… it doesn’t seem like there is much competition in the category this year. Could she lose to a co-Star??? Meanwhile, Peter’s probably a lock for another win. I do think all 3 supporting ladies will score noms though (Lena, Sophie, Maisie).

There is no way Lena is losing to Sophie or Maisie lol. Each time she was expected to be the winner she went up against people who had better narratives or chances. Uzo was the first black woman and second woman of color this century to win in the category (plus Peter took the actors branch away from her), Maggie Smith’s goodbye hug/last chance they’ll probably ever get to reward her, and Lena lacked the material this past season and Thandie was better. Lena doesn’t have any competition this time around, she’ll probably have the best material in the entire season, and Game of Thrones will win big that night as it’s the goodbye hug for it and her, with it being the last chance to reward her.

If Robin Wright doesn’t fucking win this time around I’m gonna sue the TV Academy. Oh has been sweeping the precursors for Season 1, and I’m sure she won’t be Emmy worthy for Season 2 (not that she was for Season 1 but anyway). They owe it to Robin. After all, she was excpetional in the final season.

Sister Paulson bringing in taste and tea like always.
