I’m so excited for this movie. The cinematography and production design from this teaser alone is enough for me to assume it’ll get some crucial nominations.

HBO will never have more Emmy nominations than it will in 2019

I’ve had Pose and Billy Porter from the very start. The Emmys tend to respond well to early seasons of Ryan Murphy’s stuff, and FX only has Pose and Better Things to campaign this year (I think?). Billy was very visible during the awards season, and he is easily the standout so I actually feel more confident about him than I do about series.

I’m convinced by your argument but what/who misses if Pose/Porter get in?

If Porter went supporting, I would definitely predict him. But lead? I’m just not sure; Game of Thrones‘ power is too strong to allow him to get in over Harington. However, since the acting branch aren’t sheep (apart from name-checking past nominees & their “friends” aka Jason Bateman despite giving nothing performances), Harington could still miss if he doesn’t have anything to do really in this final season regardless of how big it is, proved by last year.

There’s absolutely no way Harington has “nothing to do” in his final season. Harington (and Clarke) will 100% make it in and I see both being threats for the win.

Running around and yelling doesn’t make you Emmy-worthy.

Well it was worthy enough to land him a nomination before. I don’t see how the biggest, most popular, most loved characters of the most eventful season of the decade in the biggest television show of the century miss for their final seasons when they have been nominated before.

Viola Davis is an extremely talented actress, who has deserved every single award she’s received… and more… so…

Don’t know if this has been mentioned here yet but Apple are allegedly launching (or announcing the launch of) their streaming service March 25.
