Levi is ineligible.

I am pretty sure she has less than a minute of screen time. I doubt she is getting in.

ReplyCopy URLOscar FYC - Lupita Nyong'o & Elisabeth Moss ("Us") - Best Actress & Supporting Actress. It must happen; otherwise the Tethered are coming.
March 4, 2019 at 12:16 pm #1202803683So sad that Forever has legitimately no traction, or else I would one hundred percent be predicting Hong Chau and Jason Mitchell for their absolutely wonderful performances. Also, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Hong Chau will probably get in for Homecoming.

Marc Evan Jackson, Michael McKean (Guest Actor)
Maya Rudolph, Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Guest Actress)March 4, 2019 at 12:27 pm #1202803691This is Us should dominate here. Ron Cephas Jones, Phylicia Rashad, Rachel Hilson, Carl Lumbly, Michael Angarano and Griffin Dunne all did amazing work. Gerald McRany as well if he returns before the season is over.
ReplyCopy URLMarch 4, 2019 at 1:37 pm #1202803813She appears for literally 10 seconds, she couldn’t be more cameo-ic. She wasn’t even nominated the previous time she actually had screentime in the show. She’s not getting nominated. Moving on.
She is definitely not in my predictions, but I will not outright dismiss her for these reasons. Margaret Cho was nominated in this same category also for a Tina Fey comedy with under a minute of screen time after she was snubbed the year before for a proper guest appearance. That remains Cho’s sole Emmy nomination; Kudrow obviously has quite the Emmy history. We have also seen final seasons score nominations that the show had always missed prior, like when Will Forte was nominated for the final season of 30 Rock.

I’m so sad this show was so forgotten by the end of the year awards, Maya’s performance deserves better and I wish there was reason to believe she could still score an Emmy nomination for that performance
