I’m telling you guys right now: van Houten is winning drama guest actress.

    For Your Consideration:

Best International Feature: Instinct (The Netherlands)
Best Actress: Carice van Houten (Instinct)

Come through Glynn Turman & Cicely Tyson! That’s how you get away with guest acting nominations!!

I told you Emma Thompson was happening!!! Rachel Brosnahan missing is a relief. Not that i don’t like her, but her SNL episode was THAT BAD!!! Fiona and Scott-Thomas getting in is also refreshing. Great Guest nominees overall.

Disappointed at no Cate Blanchett who should have been the winner.

Kristin Scott Thomas has GOT to win this.

I’m telling you guys right now: van Houten is winning drama guest actress.

Think it’s between her and Rashad as they are from the Best Drama nominees nominated all over the performers branch.

I realized that Bradley Whitford is justified in guest actor because he appeared in 3/13 of the episodes, not in 3/3 which would not make him eligible. By the same logic, Cherry Jones shouldn’t have snagged two nominations for a single season of The Handmaid’s Tale.

I wonder if the younger voter influx will continue to have its impact on here-like they did with nominations- or will the membership continue to use these categories as the unsung character actor award? Hmm.

They take the whole season into account for guest eligibility even in the case of hanging episodes. You’re right, it doesn’t make any sense and neither should be nominated.

This is how a regal Queen reacts to her Emmy nomination.

Phylicia Rashad (Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series)

“It is a privilege to do work that I love. It is an honor to be acknowledged by peers in this way. Thank you, Television Academy.”

Fingers crossed Emmyfan. She truly deserves it! I will be stanning for Mrs Huxtable until the end.

We need Boomer Beachum to help out. He got old man Newhart his Emmy.

    Bradley Whitford for the win!

Jones, Rashad, Tyson, or Cox would be acceptable
