Regarding contenders that are at last place in the odds having the biggest chance to upset; Betty Gilpin(how is she behind Marin Hinkle?) and Succession “Celebration”.

    Ted Danson and Sarah Goldberg.

Needless to say that if Ted upsets Bill, Sarah isn’t winning and if Sarah upsets Alex, Ted isn’t winning.

Chernobyl for limited series. The TCA has further solidified this for me. They have a pretty stellar track record picking winners here for the past decade or so.

I also think this. I also think Jared Harris will win.

I’m pretty sure Chernobly was always going to win so I don’t know how it would be categorized as an upset. The 2016 election alone could push it to a win (though, on this site, WTSU is apparently the only one capable of being politicized). In fact, the only actual upsets in the category would be anything but WTSU and Chernobyl.

“No user starts this shady” - someone culturally relevant.

@carla_manuel, I merged your threads because you did not differentiate them in their opening posts.

Tatiana Maslany is the most deserving winner of the last decade and God knows that by the time she finally won she should had won three times before. Why compere her with the Ben Mendelsohn win whom by the way was spectacular in the limit time he had in the second season of Bloodline?

The Oscar needs to get rid of the preferential ballot so it can name a deserving movie as Best Picture again.

I feel like Michael Kelly can snatch some overdue votes.

As if the esteemed character actor winning over a young black relatively unknown actor would be an upset. It’s making me laugh that Chernobyl is now being presented as some kind of risky underdog option.

    For Your Consideration:

Best International Feature: Instinct (The Netherlands)
Best Actress: Carice van Houten (Instinct)
