Haley Lu Richardson and Brie Larson being put into the “Breakthrough” category… I can see a lot of people not knowing who Haley Lu Richardson is, but Brie Larson? The woman who swept all five of film’s biggest awards in one year? Who already lead a franchise movie in Kong: Skull Island? Sure, Jan… Whatever you say…

It’s an MTV reality show in its 21st season (33rd cycle; 2 per year) with Various alumni of: Real World, Road Rules and The Challenge meet in competition. It actually won GLAAD’s 2004 media award for Outstanding Reality Program.

Maybe because hardly anyone saw her performance that ‘swept all 5 of film’s biggest awards in one year?’ We’re talking ROOM, people! 😀 😀 And I wouldn’t exactly be pumping ‘Kong: Skull Island’ as a franchise.

Maybe I should predict Victoria Pedretti for supporting actress, given that she is the focus of “The Bent-Neck Lady”, which is both the highest-rated episode on IMDb and the most memorable episode title.

EDITED TO ADD: She is not in the predictions centre.

She was phenomenal in “The Bent-Neck Lady.” I think Kate Siegel deserves to be in the predictions center as well. She was the best supporting actress on the show IMO.

Honestly all four women deserve to be nominated, though I agree that Siegel was the standout.

Brie Larson isn’t listed by MTV on their own website as breakthrough.

Also, she was nominated for the same award in 2016 for Room

I stand corrected, then. Larsen is not up for Breakthrough performance.
