You won’t be disappointed. She’s killing it this season.

I mean, everything about this entire scene was just iconic.

Oscar FYC - Lupita Nyong'o & Elisabeth Moss ("Us") - Best Actress & Supporting Actress. It must happen; otherwise the Tethered are coming.

This makes absolutely no sense. Firstly Watchmen ain’t ahead of THT, nor is Pose of ST, Westworld, THT, Watchmen, KE or HDM. Secondly there is no fucking way anyone else from THT makes it in if Moss gets snubbed (the latter of which I do not think will happen).

Meryl in episode 1 is still the best performance this season (followed by Reese in episode 3 and Laura in episode 2)

Agreed. Reese is season MVP for me so far though as she’s been excellent every week.

Blind stanning of Paulson on these forums is hilarious. It could be a massive flop.

My profile picture is the way I’m looking at your comment. The disrespect to a memorable Oscar-winning performance and an iconic Best Picture winner is real. Honey, it’s Ryan Murphy. It’s like calling The People vs. OJ a flop beforehand. He can’t (nor is he allowed to) go wrong with this one.

Although I would also throw in Shailene in episode 2.

Here’s to hoping that Zoe Kravitz gets enough support to knock Millie Bobby Brown out of contention. I have been consistently baffled by how Brown has remained in the conversation, despite her range becoming blatantly more limited as the show persists.

While I’m here, I expect Witherspoon and Kidman to score noms in the leading category, while Dern, Streep, and Woodley most likely will end up in the supporting nominees. Adam Scott also richly deserves a nomination for his performance in episode 2.

In an ideal world, Adam Scott would be on his fourth or fifth Emmy nomination next year. But for some reason the TV Academy decided to ignore Parks and Recreation as much as possible.

The support for Laura Dern and Renata online is huge. She is kinda stealing the show.

I have loved Adam Scott in almost everything he’s been in — would love if he got nominated for this role. Episode 2 was great, but even his subtle performance in the therapy scene is deserving. That one tear that rolled down his chick when Madeline was distressed. It was like he truly felt compassion for her, despite being angry at her — he doesn’t want to see her feel low about herself. He sold it so wonderfully.

Her delivery “what the fuck was that?” to Mary Louise killed me.

Maybe my favorite line reading of the episode.
