Killing Eve is not ahead of Westworld, Ozark or even This Is Us. I hate this term, but it was pure filler last year, and it couldn’t even capitalize on vote-splitting. The third season has to be really, really, really good for the show to make it back in. Also lmao at these Sandra Oh/supporting guesses; her character’s name is in the show’s title!

Oscar FYC - Lupita Nyong'o & Elisabeth Moss ("Us") - Best Actress & Supporting Actress. It must happen; otherwise the Tethered are coming.

Succession is the clear and seemingly unstoppable front runner but if there is another show that could win it’s The Crown

If any show was a filler last that was definitely Bodyguard.  And This Is Us and Pose were definitely bigger fillers lol.

Regarding vote splitting, are you referring to Directing?! KE was never winning Directing. Everyone thought that if GoT ended up losing it would be to Succession. KE was actually predicted to win Writing but it lost (rightfully) to Succession. I also remember many Anonymous voters voting for Killing Eve in Drama. I would say KE was between 2-4 in Drama series.

Finally, can we stop saying a show is ahead of another show?! Specially when many of them haven’t released their seasons. lol.

I meant supporting actress and yes, writing. It should have been able to win those. I totally get where you’re coming from with the “don’t say this is ahead of that,” but when people make their predictions (like wolfali), that’s exactly what they’re doing, which is completely fine given that it’s what predicting is about.

Why do you say it should have been able to win those ?! Writing wasn’t as good as was in its first season and Fiona didn’t do anything worthy of a nomination in season 2 let alone a win. Her nomination was clearly for season 1. Julia and Succession rightfully won their categories.

Wolfali predicts want he/she thinks might or will happen but he/she doesn’t say this or that show are definitely ahead of another show. That’s my point. I can predicting but i don’t say this is definitely ahead of that.

I wonder if Apple will consider pushing Witherspoon supporting now…

(It would totally fuck Gugu Mbatha-Raw but might be a smart play otherwise)

Woops I forgot to put the *depends on quality disclaimer.

I think we are over estimating Westworld (which missed out at SAG to Killing Eve and Ozark when Newton should have easily been able to have gotten in for S2).

It all depends on the quality of Ozark and Killing Eve. If Killing Eve season 3 is crap or Ozark season is brilliant then I’ll put Ozark or Westworld in.

Omg, I just misread that for a second, and you can probably guess where, lmao.

At this point it’s all about predicting which show will have the best season. My bet is in Killing Eve. It’s also my favorite show between the three and the emmys liked season 2 even being kinda critized – the Fiona Shaw nomination and writing + directing combo shows that (and, plus, neither DGA or WGA nominated them).
