Was Miley really good in black mirror I have not seen the episode yet

If they want to nominate Black Mirror in acting they should go with Andrew Scott. Cyrus just delivered a serviceable performance, in my opinion.

You’ve still got things to learn about the Globes. They’re done with Veep, Years and Years could replace Catch-22 but usually they want to spread the wealth among networks + the latter is penned by George Clooney, they simply won’t be able to resist, I doubt they’ll care for Watchmen and His Dark Materials, we’ll have to wait and see how in general they’ll be received. Not implying my predictions are accurate, a lot is subject to change, there are just how I think the Globes will think this year.
Oh, and oops, I forgot Rachel Brosnahan in Comedy Actress, and Kristen Bell is also a possibility for the Veronica Mars revival (in miniseries actress).

I think GOT could easily get snubbed here. HFPA doesn’t like the show, and season 8’s quality may have been the nail in the coffin for this at the Globes.

They even dumped Veep completely, another HBO Emmy magnet, so that could definitely happen with GoT.  Veep even won SAG, DGA and WGA that year, something I don’t see GoT achieving.

I wonder if Meryl’s ego will prevail and she gets submitted in Lead along with Witherspoon and Kidman. With Kravitz, Dern & Woodley in Supporting. Would make sense as opposed to pushing 4 actresses in Supporting.

Best actress limited series: Helen mirren (catherine the great)

Best actor limited series: Russell crowe (the loudest voice in the room)

Best tv series musical or comedy: The politician

Best actress drama: Either Octavia spencer for truth be told or Olivia colman for the crown (Im leading towards Spencer. The first globe that netflix won was drama actress, that was Wright for the first season of House of Cards. History might repeat itself. But Colman is still a force to reckon with)

Best tv series drama: Big little lies

Best supporting actress: Meryl streep (big little lies)

Best supporting actor: Lin maneal miranda (his dark materials)
