Yeah, I actually enjoyed Hazel last night, maybe because her lunacy was followed to the logical conclusion it should have reached last year, her being fired.  I’m hoping she’s gone for good.  I loved the whole Tracy/Jack storyline.  Tracy Jordan’s Aunt Phatso’s Jack Donaghy’s We At It Again.  HA!  And Jenna “listening” to Kenneth (like the sun) was hilarious.

No more Hazel! So glad that seems to be over with. Kristen Schaal wasn’t a good fit with this show, and when they gave her so much screentime with a dead-end type character, there wasn’t too much that could have been done to salvage things. The scenes with Tracy’s Tyler Perry spoofing was fun for some laughs, and I do get a kick out of both Tracy Morgan and Alec Baldwin doing their multiple characters. Liz’s foot surgery scenes were decent (“You all killed my foot babies!”), but Hazel all “Misery”-ing things brought that down. Not enough Jane Krakowski, but my favorite part of the episode was Jenna singing in her head while Kenneth was prattling on about his day with her. Minor episode for the most part, and that shouldn’t be happening in the home stretch. No fillers allowed!

Grade for “Aunt Phatso vs. Jack Donaghy”: B-

When they made the decision to have Jack Donaghy play Harriet Tubman, in my mind, 30 Rock won it’s 4th Emmy.

But seriously how amazing was this episode?

So many great returns:  Dennis.  Dr. Spaceman.  Saul Rosenbear.

    – New Dennis business idea.  Oh Beeper King.
    – “My Boyfriend was supposed to pick me up after that shoot.  So I called him and was like OJ, where are you.  And he goes oh wait, you’re alive?  Then who did I kill?”
    – I love how excited Megan gets for St. Patrick’s Day.
    – “Mmm I see you over there you little gum drop!  Dont hide from Charice.”
    – Tux transformation.
    – The corn cob.
    – Wedding Bitches.
    – You’ve almost put me through med school.
    – That shot of Tracy Brushing his teeth.  Say what you want about Mr. Jordan but he knows comedy.
    – “In Arizona 2 grand gets me a castle and a bag of meth.”
    – I love Jack/Jenna plots.  They have been the best scene partners since Season 1 when he wsa grilling her about her age. I am so sad that we might not get many more of them.
    – Deli?  Save it for the honeymoon.
    – Jeff Richomd is a genius… when young Liz rolls here eyes… perfect sound.

If Tracey Wigfield was a bigger “name” she would win for this.  Hopefully she can at least be nominated.

MVPs: Tina Fey. Not a bad tape at all.

    Grade: A.

I suppose some critics will say this was to agressive and weird for a Wedding episdoe.  But I love how this show has blossomed in it’s final season.  It knows what it is and what it wants to be and it’s going to put jokes on top of jokes on top of jokes even if its not how an episode should progress.

    Love it.

As inconsistent as 30 Rock has been since… well, at least season three, I can’t help but want a 4th Emmy win. Anything is better than Modern Family. And this final season has been a worthy closer. It’s reminding that the delights of 30 Rock at its best can’t be matched. This episode is a possible writing contender considering its quality and that it’s pretty eventful. However, Liz and Wesley should have happened, damn it!

THIS. Loved it. Yeah, this was a great episode. The show is doing a great job at starting to wrap things up on its own terms. I am surprised that Liz married Chris, when Fey said a couple years ago she planned on having Wesley return for the final season, but things change of course. I’m glad Lemon got married.

Say what the hell you want about 30 Rock, but it deserves way more than 3 Comedy Series Emmys. And out of all the comedy shows of the 2012-2013 season so far, it deserves to win more than any other show. How dare people say it’s losts its charm.

This is definitely tape material for Tina. I also love the Jenna/Jack subplots, I wish there had more Jenna, but this was Tina’s episode through and through.

    Favorite moments:

-“So handsome. Is he still alive?” Liz Lemon re: Ted Bundy.
-“And he was like, “Wait if you’re alive, then who did I kill?” – Jenna re: OJ Simpson. LMAO!
    -Liz as Princess Leia.
-Jack’s little snicker after telling Liz that Tony Bennett might call her ‘Tina’.

I still say season six was crap and season five only had a few bright spots. But it does seem revitalised in this concluding season. Nurse Jackie, Louie and Wilfred are my favorite comedies of the season thus far, but 30 Rock is the best sitcom once again. And considering what will likely be nominated and what has the potential of beating Modern Family, I’ll likely have no choice but to root for it.

That was amahzing. Dean Winters, Tina Fey, James Marsden, Alec f’in Baldwin (as Harriet Tubman? the “Tina” snort? the tuxedo change? #dead), Tracey Wigfield (get that Emmy nod, you clever biotch), “erectile softners,” “Ergo/Affleck’s finally going to win the Oscar this year!”, “We’ll be good parents just like the Hiltons,” a decent Tracy storyliine, Jenna mixing vodka with tomato soup, Tony Bennett (the real one), and on and on. This is more like it. I hope they’re all this good toward the home stretch.

Here comes the water works! This episode just cracked me up. But it also made me tear up. The wedding was strange but beautiful at the same time. And this could be a great tape for Tina (although I have a feeling the series finale would be better for her).

I really liked season 6, but season 7 has been a huge step up so far. I don’t necessarily think 30 Rock should win a 4th Best Comedy Series Emmy just yet (Veep could be really great this season)…but I hope it wins SOMETHING (cough cough Jane K). It hasn’t won an Emmy since season 3…!

My favorite  quote was definitely the quote about Liz’s parents spending the money they saved for Liz’s wedding on a PT Cruiser. Tragic, yet hilarious at the same time.

Yes, I loved the episode.  They did a great job of creating the wedding and giving it meaning without sacrificing the typical 30 Rock quirk for emotional build up.  So many great lines/moments already pointed out.  I got the biggest laugh out of Charice’s sad realization: “I work for the marriage bureau, but I will never get married.”  And Liz’s eye roll was epic.

I do hope the show’s a contender for the comedy series Emmy next year, because this season has mostly been great, better than last season, and I was pulling to them to somehow pull out a comedy series victory then.

I hope Tina (who wants Jane to win an Emmy) writes one hum-dinger of an episode for Jenna in the final stretch. I mean, season 6 was a complete reel for Krakowski, but she, for some reason, got dropped. It’s gonna be very tough to get back in, but at least Wiig and Joosten’s slots are open, and there really hasn’t been any new series that have likely nominees (MAYBE Ellen Barkin).

Pretty awesome episode, the eye roll alone was perfect enough for this to be one of the best episodes of this underwhelming season. I liked many things here including the return of Dennis, the hilarious white dress she ended up choosing, young Liz and even Tracy’s storyline. I loved Dr Spaceman saying that he’s almost done with med school, Jenna’s line about OJ, Black Dennis and “this is the new normal!” and plenty of other stuff.

For some reason Jenna wasn’t invited to the wedding even after it became a sort of real wedding, she didn’t even know Liz was getting married at all. She also kind of disappeared from the episode in general.
