I’m sure I’ll be very pissed this time tomorrow.

If The Americans is snubbed for Drama Series, I’m going to break shit.

Me too, this is my greatest fear!

Hey guys, so I posted here what should be my ultimate predictions – but honestly I’m deeply insecure about way too many things to guarantee I won’t make some final adjustments before the announcement. Go ahead and tell me what you think!

We have very very smiliar comedy predictions, in some categories we even have exactly the same. I decided to put Danson in today and took Galifianakis out. I feel like Danson has much more momentum, the show does as well.

On the drama side we have quite some differences. I still have WW getting into drama, unfortunately I have Wood getting in as well. I don’t have Killing Eve anywhere except for writing. I am just way too unsure about it although I could imagine feeling really dumb tomorrow.

Here are my final predictions, before I start lemme just say I think the biggest surprises will happen in the Comedy Lead Actress category, and I can see that category going up to 8 nominations.

Comedy Series: Atlanta, black-ish, Curb Your Enthusiasm, GLOW, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Modern Family, Silicon Valley

Lead Actress: Rachel Brosnahan, Alison Brie, Jane Fonda, Allison Janney, Tracee Ellis Ross, Lily Tomlin (wouldn’t surprise me: Pamela Adlon, Debra Messing, Ellie Kemper)

Lead Actor: Anthony Anderson, Ted Danson, Larry David, Donald Glover, Bill Hader, William H. Macy

Supporting Actress: Alex Borstein, Betty Gilpin, Marin Hinkle, Kate McKinnon, Rita Moreno, Megan Mullaly

Supporting Actor: Louie Anderson, Tituss Burgess, Sean Hayes, Brian Tyree Henry, Marc Maron, Tony Shalhoub (7th nominee/spoiler: Ty Burrell)

Guest Actress: Tina Fey, Tiffany Haddish, Lisa Kudrow, Jane Lynch (Mrs. Maisel),  Mira Sorvino, Wanda Sykes

Guest Actor: Alec Baldwin, Sterling K. Brown, Bobby Cannavale, Donald Glover, Bill Hader, Leslie Jordan

On the Drama side, my biggest question mark is Killing Eve. So, I decided to predict it at any place it made sense.

Drama Series: The Americans, Game of Thrones, The Handmaid’s Tale, Killing Eve,  Stranger Things, This Is Us, Westworld

Lead Actress: Emilia Clarke, Claire Foy, Elisabeth Moss, Sandra Oh, Keri Russell, Evan Rachel Wood

Lead Actor: Sterling K. Brown, Kit Harington, Matthew Rhys, Liev Schreiber, Milo Ventimiglia, Jeffrey Wright

Supporting Actress: Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, Lena Headey, Chrissy Metz, Thandie Newton, Yvonne Strahovski

Supporting Actor: Peter Dinklage, Joseph Fiennes, David Harbour, Justin Hartley, Anthony Hopkins, Mandy Patinkin

Guest Actress: Viola Davis, Rinko Kikuchi, Diana Rigg, Cicely Tyson, Kerry Washington, Samira Wiley

Guest Actor: Cameron Britton, Matthew Goode, Michael C. Hall, Ron Cephas Jones, Gerald McRaney, Jimmi Simpson

Limited Series/TV Movie side is a hot mess, and so are my predictions here. I’m not sure of anything, there is barely anything that would surprise me in these categories.

Limited Series: The Alienist, American Crime Story, Godless, The Sinner, Twin Peaks

TV Movie: Fahrenheit 451, Paterno, The Tale, Twice Upon A Time, USS Calister

Lead Actress: Jessica Biel, Laura Dern, Michelle Dockery, Sarah Gadon, Regina King, Elisabeth Moss

Lead Actor: Darren Criss, Benedict Cumberbatch, Taylor Kitsch, Kyle MacLachlan, Jack O’Connell, Al Pacino

Supporting Actress: Ellen Burstyn, Penelope Cruz, Laura Dern, Judith Light, Naomi Watts, Merritt Wever

Supporting Actor: Jeff Daniels, Ricky Martin, Scott McNairy, Bill Pullman, Edgar Ramirez, Jason Ritter

And here come all the “bookmark me” posts today until the nominations are announced, lol. Let’s see what a trainwreck they (the nominations) might end up to be.

11 hours from now. Wrongs need to be righted. Time for substance to kick style’s ass, for once. In the name of all that is good and holy,

    1) I seek a Good Place nomination tsunami.
    2) I crave Bell vs. Brosnahan, the ultimate match between substance and style.
    3) I want something, anything for The Expanse.

The fates f’d us all yesterday with forking Croatia getting to the World Cup Final. The fates owe us. Big-time.

    1. A Comedy Series nomination is enough to ask for.
    2. Both performances are great. Neither values style over substance.
    3. No comment.
    Croatia rules.

Croatia are the Florida Marlins circa 1997 of the World Cup; 2 minutes after they get an expansion team, the Marlins win the World Series. They got lucky. France will end them Sunday.

Please I am begging for THT and GOT to under-perform and The Deuce and Killing Eve to over-perform.
