The first will air this winter, while the second is slated for spring 2020. The classic sitcoms that will be the focus of each will be announced soon.

Well, one thing is certain. If the competition is low they’ll thrive (mainly the spring one) on Emmy nominations morning. If not, it’ll be as if they never aired.

So it is certain that they will either do bad or good at the Emmys? Good to know.

They should get a good rating which is what ABC desperately needs now.

If one of them happens to be “Good Times”, Viola Davis should be a no brainer for Florida Evans!

Well, The Jeffersons/All in the Family flopped since e.g. there was When They See Us to take all the free spots in acting, while Jesus Christ Superstar overperformed in a scattered year.

While the All in the Family/The Jeffersons special didn’t do as well in Emmy nominations as Jesus Christ Superstar did last year, it least did very well in the ratings, and that’s more important for ABC.

I doubt there will be a movie/miniseries race as weak as the 2018 one for quite some time.

I think Octavia Spencer would be PERFECT to play Florida if they decide to do Good Times, but not gonna lie I’d be here for Queen Viola as well.
