I’m a “the show is trash” believer too. Some good moments some not. In reading some of the posts about last night’s episode, there are some I agree with and some I don’t. So I’m very wishy washy apparently haha

The Kathy Bates storyline is just a confusing mess so far.

Cody Fern has been just flat out awful to me. I thought he was quite good in Versace, but I’ve hated him here

Paulson has been solid as always. Grossman and Roberts have been comic relief but haven’t had much to do otherwise. Conroy, I’m agreeing with y’all about. Farmiga, I’m not sure if it’s limited role so far or what.

The other men in the cast are meh to me right now. Hopefully this means Billy Porter will have more to do, but I like him much more in Pose.

Now on to one of my biggest issues with Ryan Murphy productions, the tone. The inconsistency of going between horror/drama/comedy/camp, often in one scene just frustrates me. He did it in Popular, he did it in Nip/Tuck, OJ, and especially AHS. Some like that and that’s fine. I just don’t.

Giving the fact that you were enable to understand half of episode 3, this is not surprise coming from you.
And I know that everybody has the right to have his own opinion, but yours about Fern is beyond absurd, his acting is incredible this season, he is Emmy worthy and everybody is going crazy for his performance.
And the negative comments about Conroy are just ridiculous, those theories ¨she seems that she doe snot want to be here¨ are making me laugh hard. Conroy adores Murphy and and AHS, she has always said that she loves working for him and that she is very grateful that he is giving her constant employment. She is playing Myrtle exactly how she was playing her in season 3, so again, saying that she is doing it bad is pathetic. This character is iconic and is by far her best one in en entire show.October 12, 2018 at 3:55 am #1202651246
Of course I know Conroy wants to be there, she just seems so bored and the way she delivers her lines are so bizarre. Maybe I’m wrong, but in Coven she was able to breathe a little more life into it. Maybe it’s just the writing, who knows. And I would argue that Moira and Gloria were better characters for Conroy.October 12, 2018 at 5:26 am #1202651281
WARLOCKS?!?!? Holla! All of this is becoming so incestuous with the seasons of “Murder House,” “Coven,” and “Hotel” converging like this. Not to mention actors from all of those respective iterations plus “Pose” and “Versace.” It all has the potential to implode right in our faces, which I’m skeptical about seeing unfold as well as being excited. Sarah Paulson directing next week’s episode is excellent news, as is the long-awaited return of Jessica Lange as my personal favorite of her “AHS” characters, Constance Langdon. I also have a feeling that Emmy voters will rectify their horrible snubbing of Cody Fern by nodding him for this instead. I didn’t realize how much I missed Gabby and Emma Roberts from “Coven,” so getting to see them again was great. So energized about this season! Really hoping that the momentum continues for the rest of the season.October 12, 2018 at 5:53 am #1202651291

Yeah, all the fans in the Facebook page are raving for her, part of her character is that she always seems a little bored and like no giving shit about anything, she played\plays the character like this in BOTH season, that is why is so iconic, she only cares for fashion and for good food.October 12, 2018 at 4:07 pm #1202651642
Coven was not my favorite season, but damn it’s such a pleasure to see all those characters again, especially like this ! Everyone is just so great, I think I even like Sarah Paulson as Cordelia more than in Coven.
It makes me regret Ryan Murphy didn’t do the Coven spin off he had in mind, instead of the tragedy that Scream Queens was (ok s1 had fun moments but overall it was just not good).
I fail to understand the point of the first three episodes though, total waste of time. Maybe it’s because they were afraid they wouldn’t be considered as an anthology show if they directly started with just Coven characters/storylines ?October 12, 2018 at 8:24 pm #1202651715
Loving this season, always depressed when the episode is nearing the end!!!! I agree that it’s weird to introuduce a bunch of characters at first and kill them all off, so I wonder………..is this really the last we have seen of them?October 14, 2018 at 4:08 am #1202652316
I find it really ridiculous when people complain that they didn’t understand the show but all they do is watch, watching without analyzing. Smh.October 17, 2018 at 7:47 am #1202654433

Confirmed: Jessica Lange will be appearing in more than one episode. She makes her debut tonight (already available on FX+) and probably in episode 8 (‘Sojourn’) and the Season Finale. Yay!!!!

Is that enough for Supporting Actress at the Emmys for a mini series or movie?October 17, 2018 at 12:42 pm #1202654842
She doesn’t need another episode. Her performance alone in episode 6 is outstanding and memorable & she basically carries the whole episode on her shoulders along with Emma Roberts and Cody. My god she was SO GOOD. It’d be a true joy to see her win AGAIN for the SAME part in the SAME category. (Saw it via FX+ and gonna watch live too as I do every week and then share my thoughts on the episode).
I’m convinced you’re Ryan Murphy in disguiseOctober 17, 2018 at 7:47 pm #1202655245
I’m only a few minutes into the episode, but when did they start saying fuck on this show? There’s been 3 in the first 15 minutes
