Amy Adams is headed to the Old West with her next producing project.

The six-time Oscar nominee’s Bond Group Entertainment and A24 have landed rights to Anna North’s novel Outlawed and will develop it for television.

The novel, which debuted at No. 6 on the New York Times bestseller list following its Jan. 5 publication, centers on a young midwife who’s initiated into the notorious Hole in the Wall gang and becomes part of their mission to transform the West. The feminist spin on the western has received strong reviews and is the January pick for the Belletrist and Reese Witherspoon book clubs.

Poor Amy Adams. She’s now going to continue making more and more television and not even win Emmys.

FYC OSCARS : PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN IN ALL CATEGORIES (ESP. ACTRESS – Carey Mulligan AND ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY — EMERALD FENNELL), VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", ESSIE DAVIS FOR "BABYTEETH"

You gotta give it to her for her persistence
She already lost 6 Oscars and 2 Emmys and she keeps coming.

Anyway, thoughts on who to cast? Looks that she is only the producer

According to the premise of the book, the lead character is a 20 year old female so yeah I don’t think Amy is starring in this unless there’s a supporting role for her. I feel like Eliza Scanlen could fit well in a western and she already has a connection to Amy.

Why do I feel like Daisy Edgar-Jones is going to be the one who is cast in this?
