Arrested Development is officially coming back! I couldn’t be more excited. Mitchell Hurwitz and the entire main cast will be back.

SO excited!! What an underrated show. Glad they waited until all of them could sign on.May 17, 2017 at 3:53 pm #1202095685
Although I’ve enjoyed season 4 more on each subsequent viewing, I really hope they have been able to work out schedules this time so that it’s less episodes focusing on one character but instead the episodes focus on all of them because the bluths are at their best when they’re together. Also, hopefully the emmys embrace this more than last time. Jessica Walter needs a fucking emmy already.May 17, 2017 at 4:04 pm #1202095696

YES. David Cross also deserves at least a nomination. His dialogue is the best.
I read Mitchell Hurwitz said they were waiting until everyones schedule cleared up, so most likely they’ll all be together when they shoot. It’ll also be interesting to see which minor characters will return!May 17, 2017 at 4:15 pm #1202095703
Lucille 2, Gene Parmesan, Egg, Barry Zuckerkorn, Maggie Lizer and like a dozen others are high on my wish list.May 17, 2017 at 4:21 pm #1202095711
Anyone with me on the lonely island of people who thought Season 4 was brilliant?May 17, 2017 at 4:22 pm #1202095713
Fingers crossed for ten episodes with an average runtime of twenty-one minutes instead of another fifteen episodes with an average runtime of thirty-three minutes.

What can one say? THANK YOU GOD? FINALLY?
I wonder if it’s really coming out next year. Can’t believe it took this long, even if it’s a shorter than what we waited for last time.
Hopefully they’ve learned their lesson, and it’s 13 episodes, half hour, maybe a couple slightly longer, but no reason to do any of the formatting from season 4. JUST NO!.
And please, please, PLEASE! Let us have the cast together again!.
I also want to know where they’re going with this season, are they going to keep up the whole Lucile 2 murder going?May 17, 2017 at 4:34 pm #1202095721
Thank God, but I was in the majority of thinking Season 4 was inferior to the previous seasons. Hopefully they can work out the earlier kinks. I was worried we wouldn’t get a resolution to all those cliffhangers in the finale…May 29, 2017 at 11:04 pm #1202105638
This time around, not only is the whole cast returning (“sadly, Jason Bateman has agreed to do it,” jokes Arnett), but Arnett tells us that the show will be structured in a way that’s similar to the original seasons. That means the cast will be appearing together and sharing more scenes, he hints, as opposed to season 4, which focused on one or two characters per episode.
This is going to be so great. Season 4 was very enjoyable, but nothing can beat the scenes when they’re all together. Them waiting for everyone’s schedule to clear up was the best decision they could’ve ever made.May 30, 2017 at 1:27 am #1202105775
I really have a lot of hope this will be just as good as the first 3 seasons. This will be by far my most anticipated show next year.
