I found it more engaging than the previous episode, probably because the plot feels more focused and there’s less meandering. Wilson remains the best thing about the show by far. She was mind-blowing in this scene. That inflection in her voice, that rage… chilling. Keen felt more inexperienced than usual as a result though.November 11, 2019 at 1:03 pm #1203174908This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.November 12, 2019 at 11:23 am #1203176279

Wilson continues to be the MVP of the season apart from maybe in Ep1 (that was McAvoy).

Easily the best episode. Great moments and Ruth Wilson was very good. I hope she can get a BAFTA nomination to impulse her in the award season.
At least deserve an Title Design and Music nominations (and maybe wins). The opening is totally awesome.December 10, 2019 at 10:09 am #1203229134
I have just finished this week’s episode, and wow! The story has already gotten further than the movie did. I know the final three chapters of the first novel were cut from the film because New Line Cinema really wanted a more upbeat ending, so they felt it would be a better idea to move those parts to the beginning of the sequel, which obviously never happened. Adapting this series into a TV show was definitely a much better idea.
